About This Game

In My Lord Is Hiring, players take the reins as the hiring manager for a medieval kingdom. It’s up to you to manage your nation’s income, resources, and workers to ensure the kingdom is well-defended against monsters and flourishing financially.

With hundreds of soldiers, healers, and craftspeople desperate for work, you’ll need to hire wisely to ensure you’re finding the best of the best and supporting the good people of the kingdom along the way. Try not to fall for the charms of liars and cheats, or get caught up in the budding family drama of the different employees that may join your ranks.

A good hiring manager will scour through resumes and job applications, consult their advisor, and send new hires off to work, all while managing their budget and resources. So, will you help your kingdom flourish? Or will you send your people to ruin?

Analyze resumes, ask questions, consult your advisor, and trust your instincts to decide who’s fit for Combat, Trade, or Support. Hiring an untrustworthy candidate is bad for business, but sometimes taking a risk on a potential hire can be well worth it.

Set up your team for combat, then watch as they engage in fast-paced auto battles. Each unit follows an attack pattern that builds energy to unleash their Ultimate. You can intervene at critical moments to save a life—or end one. Strategy and timing are key.

Whether you're sending Knights, Archers, and Clerics to vanquish demons or employing Miners, Farmers, and Lumberjacks to gather resources, every decision matters. Quests require careful thought, so choose the right team and equip them with crafted gear to boost their chance of success.

Send your tradespeople out to gather materials you can use to craft powerful weapons and potions. Experiment with rare recipes to see what you can create. Then it’s up to you to decide whether to strengthen your team with your new creations or sell them to expand your payroll.

Every decision you make influences the story and your chances for success. Will you fall for a con man’s sob story? Or play favorites by hiring a current employee’s family members? Or will you assemble a team of complete misfits to see what comes from the chaos? With a complicated cast of unique characters up for hire, there are many ways to improve—or destroy—your kingdom. Which will you choose?
