Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« BoundWorlds is a content-based game. Players can both create their own worlds and explore worlds created by other players.

Before I can consider the game "complete", I want to have several hours of gameplay content for players to explore (I'm aiming for 4-6 hours). Some of these will be my own creations, but I would also like to encourage players who are interested by the world building aspect of the game to add their own contributions early on.

The purpose of Early Access is to give world builders a chance to add their own creations to the game's multiverse, and help it grow. »

« The timeframe for this depends on numerous factors, but I hope to have it done within several months. »

« In addition to general QOL improvements and more starting content, it is my intention to add a Premium upgrade to the full version. I have plans for a system that will allow world builders to connect to external APIs for added functionality, as well as offering options for monetizing their worlds. »

« The World Editor is fully functional, and there are several playable demo worlds already created. »

« As new content and features are added, I intend to gradually raise the price accordingly.

I intend to grant additional bonuses to early adopters who help the growth of the BoundWorlds universe by creating quality content, such as free upgrades to the Premium version. »

« BoundWorlds has a Discord server which I use to respond to any feedback or questions, both in terms of helping with world building and potentially taking community suggestions for new features. »

Since BoundWorlds is heavily centered around user-created content, which may include uploaded images and sounds, it is not possible to perfectly control all content that appears in-game.

World editors can flag their own creations for mature content, and players can adjust according to their own standards, to keep them from entering worlds that may contain mature content. There is also a reporting system to punish content creators who do not flag their mature content appropriately.

BoundWorlds uses simple pixel graphics and is not expected to include realistic graphic imagery by content creators acting in good faith.

BoundWorlds is optimized for telling stories and it is probable that some stories may include text-based mature content or social themes.
