Varför Early Access?

“As developers who love the strategy and RPG genres, we have been developing Pirate Patrol, a fast-paced but deep tactical RPG, for about a year now, and during this time we have communicated with hundreds of our followers on social media about the game and received feedback. We now have our core game module that provides the core gameplay mechanics, and as we add new features and enrich our game, we want to get feedback from players who are actually playing it.”

“We have set a timeline of approximately 12 months to complete the "roadmap" we envision for Pirate Patrol, and with feedback from our players, we may be able to accelerate this process even further.”

“During Early Access, we plan to add a lot more "story, characters, and locations" to the game. We also want the AI we've built for the game to allow the game universe to exist independently of the player. We want the factions in the galaxy to make treaties with each other, start new companies, and develop new inventions so that the joy of rediscovering the game grows with each playthrough. As we get closer to the full release, these new features will make Pirate Patrol even more of a "living universe".”

“Currently, the core game module of the game is playable. This allows players to travel the galaxy free, engage in exciting space battles using the Tactical Combat module, and control pilots and ships in detailed tactical engagements against enemy forces.”

“Once Early Access ends, there may be a price adjustment based on the game's expanded content and possibly inflationary conditions.”

“To improve the game, we listen to player feedback and encourage players to participate in our social media channels or STEAM discussion forums. During Early Access, we show the "roadmap" and development status of the game to our players at the start of the game. This way, we want our players to have a clearer picture of the development process and share their ideas with us.”

Lionheart, the legendary pirate captain, has returned to make them pay for the betrayal he suffered 20 years ago during the Great Pirate Revolution against the ruthless monopoly bosses who have the galaxy and the Federation in their claws.

Realising that the Federation has become a pawn in the hands of the monopoly bosses, will the honourable intelligence officers and experienced pirate captains scattered across the galaxy support Lionheart in this great battle?

Are you ready to send your precious pilots into battle against artificially intelligent enemies unleashed across the galaxy by an evil force?

Will you be able to find experienced and fearless pilots, Captain, to fight this powerful enemy with speeds and manoeuvrability far beyond human physical limits?

Will you be able to control these brave fighter pilots who have been cooked in the toughest of conflicts and become bastards of war? Will you be able to call disobedient pilots back to the hangar in the middle of a fierce firefight when they change their targets against orders?

As an experienced captain on a covert mission, you know that every asteroid, projectile and enemy ship poses a significant risk. You have learned through the most painful experiences that space is no joke, Captain, and now you must use all your skills against a powerful enemy that is preparing to enslave humanity for thousands of years.

Destroy enemy ships, loot their technology and equipment, then use it to upgrade your own ships and fighters.
Command your carier and send your fighter pilots on missions,
Find and train new officers and pilots, on procedural game universe map.
Buy, sell or craft new weapons, equipment and technologies, build relationships with factions on planets, repair your ships on their planets and take on new missions, strengthen your relationships and learn new secrets.

You set your own missions:

Rush to the aid of attacked ships,
Rescue pilots and crews thrown into space from damaged ships.
Investigate anomalies that have caught the attention of scientists.
Send your fighters to hunt down enemy ships.
Go after enemy factions.
Set out to find out what happened in the colonies where communication was lost.
Scan the area and uncover lurking enemies.

What is Smart-Pause Game (SPG)

We developed the Smart-Pause Game (SPG) interface, which combines the tactical richness of Turn-based Strategy games with the action richness of Real-Time Strategy games.With SPG interface, the game will “pause” intelligently, allowing the player to make tactical decisions with ease, while the player will be thinking broadly, planning and putting their tactics into practice without getting lost in a fast-paced game.
