Why Early Access?

“The goal of the Early Access version is to improve the game based upon player feedback, to a point where we can happily call it "complete". We'd like to do this whilst still allowing players to be able to enjoy the game in the current state.
We feel that Interstellar Pilot 2 is complete enough to be fully playable now but we are aware that some aspects need improvement and that further content would be welcome. We'd like to make these improvements with the help of the community's feedback.”

“We expect that the game will be in Early Access for a minimum of six months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add:

  • Support for Cloud Save
  • Better support for large monitor display
  • Improved usability
  • Further storyline content
  • Improvement of some models with a lower level of detail

“The game is fully playable and all of the features in the "About this game" section are already implemented.”

“Interstellar Pilot already has a large Discord community where developers often engage with players to fix bugs and make improvements. We encourage players to join our Discord server. We plan to add a dedicated area to the Discord server to discuss the Early Access version and provide feedback.”

About This Game

Sol sector, 2200.

Earth is ravaged by war and depleted natural resources. Despite advances in propulsion technology, humankind has failed to reach the nearest star system, Alpha Centauri. What scarce minerals can be found in the Sol system are dominated by emerging pirate factions.

A mysterious wormhole appears in the rings of Saturn with no explanation. Early pioneers venture through and report back the discovery of the star system of Gatopea, an area of space never before observed from Earth's telescopes.

Earth's nations establish the Terran Expeditionary Force, a massive fleet of scientific and naval vessels tasked with breaking out of Sol and establishing a secure and permanent colony in Gatopea. With all hope extinguished of salvaging Earth, the fate of humankind rests in the new frontier...
