Story

Not all fairy tales have a happy ending

In the past, there was a conflict between two armies: the Army of the Light, comprised of mage warriors, and the Spirits of Nawia. Eventually, the Army of the Light was reduced to only its leaders, Steel, and his loyal followers. In the end, they surrendered to the goddess of the underworld in exchange for leaving the Jawia world undisturbed. As part of this agreement, the souls of the warriors were taken, along with the Army of the Light stronghold, and the existence of the Army of Light Warriors was wiped from the history of Jawia. However, the tale of the legendary battle between good and evil has been passed down through generations like a fairy tale, along with a prophecy that the final warrior will determine the fate of humanity by choosing between light and darkness.

Welcome to Dark Fantasy World
Two twin sisters Vera and Milena set out to leave gifts in front of the idol of the Slavic god Perun, believing in gods would give them health and peace in the Jawia world. While Vera is handing over food to the idol, Sister Milena decides to become playful and hides from Vera, which leads Vera to the entrance to the Forbidden, a place where robbers are sent when they receive the death penalty, where it was believed that demons wander. After arriving at the Forbidden Forest, she hears her sister screaming, after which she decides to enter the forest, the entrance to the forest is closed and there is no way out for Vera, the sunset has set. Enter the dark fairy tale…

Travel from Jawia to Nawia

The plot of the game is heavily influenced by dark fantasy literature and comics, as well as Slavic mythology and culture. Players have the opportunity to traverse both the mortal realm and the underworld of Slavic mythology, encountering legendary beasts, fulfilling divine quests, and unraveling enigmas. The game boasts dynamic and immersive environments that enable players to master the use of the Lada star in fending off adversaries. Through solving puzzles and interacting with characters, players can progress to higher levels.

You can't fight back

The game protagonist has no weapons or way to fight back. Instead, she needs to run and hide from creatures. The creatures will have several different personalities, so it is up to the player to decide how to deal with them to further progress through the game world. Are they friends or foes?

Real actors and photorealistic environments

The unique visual art style and scanned objects form an ethnographic museum and famous locations never seen in any game before. Scanned face models and voiceovers of real word actors that will provide a breathtaking cinematic experience developed using novel state-of-the-art technologies. Professional performers will provide voice-overs for video game creatures and create the feeling that someone is watching you.

The psychological story of maturity and progression

The story follows a young girl named Vera, who embarks on a journey of self-discovery and uncovers her special abilities and purpose in life. Along the way, she confronts the challenges of growing up and learns to assert her independence, resisting the sinister forces that threaten to possess her body and soul.

Authentic music

The game soundtrack consists of ethno and traditional folklore music but with a different arrangement. Music is accelerated in certain situations to make the player aware of approaching danger. Frightening music and sound effects will create contact tension inside dark forests and abended castles.
