In addition to the hallmarks of the Ys series, such as an array of skill attacks, fast-paced action and thrilling boss battles, the game also introduces a number of new elements that are closely linked to Ys IX, such as the ability to explore the field in all directions via monstrum special abilities!

In addition, the Steam® version of the game includes bonus items, such as exclusive costumes and attachments, that were originally released on other consoles.
