Why Early Access?

“We have been considering early-access as an option since nearly the beginning of the development. Since then, we’ve had multiple opportunities to present the game to our community on many occasions, which led us to realize that we’ve only ever benefited from implementing direct player feedback. This is why we decided to release RIPOUT in Early Access, because we would like to include our community into the process of developing and improving the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is to exit early access sometime in 2024. However, we also want the game to be in a perfect state before this happens, and also let enough time to include community feedback, which means that in case we feel that our team needs more time, we might prolong the development for a while longer.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early-access campaign will see the implementation of new content and features based on the feedback received from the community. This can easily be assumed to be new enemies and weapons as well as the obvious balancing.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early-access version includes the majority of features, variety of enemies and co-operative gameplay.
Please see the "About This" section for more details.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, there will be a small price increase after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will be soliciting community feedback from all available channels, specifically the Steam forums, our discord and the various social communities within RIPOUT’s reach. We will apply this feedback to improve the direction of the game as well as implementing new content to cater to the needs and desires of said community.”

About This Game

Ripout is a Co-Op horror shooter where players will fight their way through abandoned, mutant-infested spaceships, collect loot, and customize their character in search of the last remaining bastion of humanity. Will you and your trusty Pet Gun find Sanctuary in time, or will you perish alongside the rest of Earth's residents?

Set off on a once-in-a-lifetime journey through space in search of human survivors. Sanctuary holds the key. But where is it? And, most importantly, what is it? Unravel the fate of humanity alone or with friends in a co-op Sci-Fi FPS experience that will keep you entertained for hours on end!



Cooperative PVE Gameplay
  • Embark on a variety of missions and explore derelict ships alone or in small teams.
