““We have been working on Lost Assassin for the past few years in our spare time. Both of us are gamers from the 80s and love the Sci-Fi genre. We have aimed to create a homage to the classic side-scrolling—mouse aim—action platformers akin to games like ‘Walker’ on the old Amiga systems but with modern controls, save points, double jumps etc.

“It has gradually evolved, over the years, from a very basic 2D side-scroller with hand drawn sprites, into a much larger project with upgraded graphics, lighting and mechanics. Michael is the programming brains behind the project, while Kano is the art guy. Together they have produced almost all of the assets required from the ground up.

“We would really like people to play our game and to give us feedback. This would enable us to identify bugs, performance issues, game mechanics and possible features to add to the game.””

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“We have rebooted the game and now have it relaunched into Early Access. There is already a working game with multiple levels and a huge variety of enemy types, weapons etc. to have fun with. It's quite a challenging game so there's plenty of scope for replay-ability.””

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

““The full version will hopefully have a regular adventure mode with several (around 7) different environments to explore. There will be more physics based intereactions, crafting minerals, enemy types with different behaviours, weapons, grenades etc. We would like to populate the world with more dialogue points and increase the story elements further.””

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

““The Early Access version is already functional with explorable maps, a store, weapons, upgrades etc. Pretty much everything listed in the front store page is already working. The dialogue and story elements are still bare bones, but you can enter buildings, caves etc. and have a good time killing enemies.””

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

““The game will be priced differently. We estimate it will be at least 50% more expensive by final release.””

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

““We are hoping to gain valuable, honest feedback from players in regards to gameplay elements, performance bugs etc for further development. Our best avenue for feedback will be via the Steam community forums, where we will be actively engaging in discussion with players.””
