「Being in early access gives us a chance to bring features out gradually and develop along side the community. We feel this is the best way for us to deliver a quality game that people will enjoy. This also helps us early on with a bit of funding to continue growing the game and our studio.」

「At this stage we’re anticipating we’ll be in Early access with Lightsmith for roughly 12 months. We hope over that time we can get some great feedback from the community and really elevate this little game of ours.」

The current Early Access state of the game offers basic town management, crafting and questing. The full version will have much more features including:

  • More complex crafting tree
  • A wider variety of NPCs to interact with
  • Lots more story content
  • Tons more quests
  • Improved graphics
  • More quality of life features

Those that purchase in Early Access will get to watch and be part of the game’s evolution. What we see as a final version is honing in on what the community enjoys most and expanding those areas to create a game you enjoy and we’re proud to have made possible.

「We will increase the price once we come out of early access. Joining in early gives you a chance to get the game at a cheaper price no matter how large it grows.」

「During the development we will be working with community on the steam forums and our Discord to see what people like the most/least and adjust our roadmap accordingly to get the best game possible!」

IN THIS DARK AND GLOOMY WORLD WE MUST FORGE OUR OWN LIGHT...

The world has been plunged into eternal night, blanketed in darkness by eerie creatures that feed on light. Things seem bleak for those that still survive, but hope is not lost. A gifted few are able to manipulate a unique form of matter into a new source of light; they are known as the Lightsmiths.




You are one of the rare individuals able to craft with light, and it’s up to you to keep your settlement running. Gather your materials, craft light sources in your forge, and help your fellow villagers survive. Slowly grow your settlement into a self-sustaining village that welcomes newcomers and stands as a beacon of hope in this dark and gloomy world, keeping the creatures of darkness at bay.

And whatever you do, don’t let the light go out.
