Why Early Access?

“We believe we've made something fun that stands with the best in the genre, but we want your help to make it better! We are a small team and limited in the resources we can bring to bear on the game, especially in terms of playtime and feedback we can iterate on. We've played it plenty ourselves, but we're biased because we made it. We need your help to take it to the next level. Before calling the game "feature complete" and a "whole product", we want to get it into as many hands as possible and hear what you have to say. See how we will involve the community below and let your voice be heard!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate approximately one year between Early Access and the launch of the full version. However, should community feedback radically alter the scope, we are ready and excited to extend this to help our community get the game they want!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“As it stands now, you can enjoy the game for dozens of hours of playtime. Our vision is a game that you can play for hundreds of hours and restart for hundreds more, enjoying the beginning as much as the end.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“TLDR: You can play sandbox mode with some story elements for dozens of hours.

play any seed to late game progression.
play multiplayer (co-op or versus) on any seed
Story is incomplete.
Faction Two assets are incomplete
Faction Two and Three are not gameplay complete. They have missing items in their tech trees.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price when the full version launches as more content is added. Early-access adopters will receive a discount. There may be seasonal or event-related discounts before and after launch of the full game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will collect user feedback and suggestions via our official Discord server, via the game's Steam Community, and across social media channels. We are asking the community to help guide development to the full release by playing and giving us their opinions on many matters. Specifically, we want to hear about:

What do you like about the core loop? What would you improve?
Does playing the game make you better when you restart? Are you more efficient/better able to use the tools provided?
Is there something that is unintuitive for a lot of people? How do we make that easier to grasp?
We want the community involved in shaping how the additional factions add to gameplay. Is there interest in making them actually playable?
Is the narrative engaging? Do you have better ideas on how the story can play out and where it winds up?

About This Game

When your ship becomes damaged, you must send drones to the surface of an unknown planet to build the facilities necessary for repairs. Guided by ELAINE, your onboard AI, you will build, automate, survive, and thrive. But is there more to learn from this mysterious world?

Desynced is an automation game without belts. Drones connected to your logistics network will automatically fill orders to move material around your base. Set up mining operations and factories, expand your logistics network to cover more area, manage power generation and storage, and more. When you need a more custom solution, tailor the behavior of your facilities and bots using customizable parameters, or dive into drag-and-drop scripting for maximum control.
