“The structure of the Zooconomy fits the Early Access format very well, and the Early Access itself will allow us to complete the development of the game along with players. We not only want to tune the balance of the game, but also add content which players want. This primarily concerns animals and zoos themselves.

During Early Access, we will be adding new content, as well as making major updates with new mechanics. For example, in one of the first such updates we want to add Research mechanic - option to study regular and extinct animals.”

“We except it to be in Early Access around 6 months, but it will generally be depend on current development progress.”

“Initially both game modes will be available:

Campaign
At the moment, the game has 5 tutorial missions and 5 story missions. Tutorial missions will help player understand the game mechanics, which can then be tested in the story missions of the campaign.

Sandbox
It will also be possible to create a sandbox game and play with any available zoo. Initially, there will be a limited set of parameters that can be configured, but with future patches the number of parameters will be increased.

Animals and zoos
At the start, 110 animals and 80 zoos will be available

Languages
Right now game is available in English and Russian.”

“Yes, the base price will be probably increased.”

“We plan actively involve the community in the development, because this was one of the key factors in going into Early Access. The most important thing is player feedback, their wishes and ideas. We will try our best to take into account every message, but of course, we will not be able to fulfill absolutely all the wishes of the players.

Players will also be able to vote and suggest which animals and zoos to add to the game. We plan to collect all this in all possible types of communication: forum on Steam, Twitter, Discord and via emails.”
