«Based on feedback from early users I anticipate refining RealFit over 1 or 2 years. In the end though, the final timing will depend on reaching the level of usability and quality that makes RealFit fun and accessible to users with a varied level of fitness and experience using VR.

Although there's a long list of possible features that could go into a full release, the plan is that RealFit will continue to evolve even after leaving Early Access - and so with that mindset it's the core workout and user feedback features that should determine when to leave Early Access.»

«Planned features (subject to change / re-prioritization based on feedback):

• Compete with yourself - I.e. allow users to record their actions during a workout so that they can replay these to compete against their best past performance. (I've prototyped this and this will probably be one of the short term development aims)
• Achievements
• Streaks (track weekly, monthly yearly streaks for different actions)
• Dynamic environments (objects / characters / creatures / lighting should all react/respond to your workout progress)
• More environments (would like more varied environments)
• Mini-games (more varied mini-game exercises that can be combined with any workout)
• More Exercises (including Yoga)
• Built-in Music (ideally music that can dynamically adapt to your actions during a workout)
• Music Streaming (play your own music via Spotify / Bandcamp / Soundcloud)
• Group workouts (I've actually done quite a lot of development / prototyping for this already but prioritizing this will heavily depend on feedback).
• Digital Mirror (use your phone / webcam to create a mirror in VR)
• Integrated mobile app (I have a prototype for this started)
• Heart rate monitors / wearables integration
• Mixed-reality Streaming Tools (Make it easy to live-stream from RealFit - RealFit currently has some custom-built MR support which can be exposed in addition to adding LIV support.)»

«These are all the features RealFit currenly has:

• Sign up/Login for a RealFit profile (by creating a profile your stats and custom workouts can be accessed from multiple devices and you can share RealFit with multiple users)
  
• Guest Mode (without a profile you can use RealFit in guest mode)
  
• 6 preset workouts
  
• 21 exercises in library (excluding variations which are also provided for some exercises)
  
• 1 minigame which can be played in 2 ways (push ups & squats), separately or incorporated into a workout
  
• Custom Workouts (ability to build custom workouts using any of the exercises/minigame in the library)
  
• Workout Statistics (scores for each workout and timing or rep-count metrics for all exercises and games)
  
• 2 environments (a sunny valley or another planet)
  
• Trainer avatar (trainer avatar demonstrates exercises)
  
• Text guidance (each exercise has written guidance and tips)
  
• Real-time feedback (look targets, rep-counts, score progress, time remaining)

«The idea is to raise the price for the full release with more polished features. It's possible we may gradually raise the price along the way as we add new features and content.

If we add support for group workouts while RealFit is in early access it's possible there may need to be some associated cost for being able to maintain the service but this would be optional.»

Πώς σκοπεύετε να συμπεριλάβετε την Κοινότητα στην ανάπτυξη του παιχνιδιού σας;

«Getting feedback is going to be vital to know how best to progress with making RealFit better and I'd really like to build an ongoing community around RealFit that can share what they find useful, or not! The idea is that RealFit should be as accessible as possible for anyone able to exercise safely in VR but to make that possible we will need all the diverse feedback and help we can get from our early users.
