Taking place on the second day of your holiday, you start reminiscing with Grendel Jinx about how you two first met. Inevitably, the discussion turns to a dark period in both your lives when tragedy and revenge nearly destroy your "friendship" with each other.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Being a pretty large visual novel (especially compared to the first part), it will require extra testing as well as editing where appropriate.

Early Access will also allow early detection and fixing of any bugs or problems that may occur”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It will all depend on when the graphics (and various sound effects) can be completed. As they are being done at the same time as Part 3, I'm hoping it won't be any more than 6 months. The absolute worst case would be December 2020.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will have all the required backgrounds, characters and sound effects in.

Steam achievements will be active (internal ones are running now)”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Currently, the Early Access version contains the following :

  • Full and complete story (although it may be modified if need be). There are multiple endings (both good and bad) and with choices that affect the storyline. This fully works
  • Some characters are already graphically present, but most need to added (there are approximately 12 characters in the story)
  • Some backgrounds are already present, but most need to be created (which will take time)
  • The scene jump and gallery will be usable during development as the graphics are implemented.
  • Music player is already running.
At the moment, the focus is split between editing the story (and modifying/expanding it where needed) and getting the graphics created. Other areas that will need work include the end credits and title sequence.

We’ll be actively following the Steam forums and look forward to general player feedback, as this will identify any problems.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Pricing is not expected to change when Early Access has been left.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Will appreciate all feedback regarding any spelling and grammatical errors. Unless continuity problems are found, the story itself won't change.

Any feedback can be posted in the Steam forum for this game.”

Update

This is a fairly big update.

In addition to the text of one gender being completed, this version now incorporates extra accessibility options for those who have trouble reading.

This means that there are now two fonts available (the standard DejaVu Sans and Open Dyslexic). Textbox transparency, text spacing, line spacing and text size can now be changed too.

Note that these options only affect dialogue and chapter names - menu choices, intro/outro/title sequence videos aren't affected by these options, along with the main menu.

These options will be filtered through to WTC 2 - Part 1, WTC OVN and WTC 0 (the test project) to start with

WTC 1 and WTC 3 will be updated later (WTC 3 also needs a gender-specific update too, but that's another story).

The story is now finalised and won't be changed, unless any unwanted continuity problems are found.

Next will be protagonist graphics and hopefully a few backgrounds. Protagonist graphics will be added into WTC 2/1, OVN, test program first

About This Game

About This Game

This visual novel continues from where Welcome To... Chichester 2 - Part I left off, but you don't need to have played the previous version in order to follow the story.

The Story

Taking place on the second day of your holiday, you arrive in the hotel restaurant nursing a nasty headache, which is not helped by the presence of your nemesis - the megalomaniacal, kleptomaniac and cake mix loving Grendel Jinx. Whilst waiting for breakfast to be served, you start reminiscing about how you both met.

Inevitably, the conversation veers onto a period in which your budding "friendship" was nearly permanently severed.

Suffering a string of defeats by the handle of Grendel following by an unauthorised beating by her bodyguards, you spend your time in hospital realising that there must be a mole in The Phoenix Custodians, and you set your secretary onto the task of finding out who it is.

Meanwhile, Grendel gets news that her bodyguards have been killed, and with all evidence pointing to you, she sets out for revenge.

Features :
  • 7 bad endings
  • 4 variations of the good ending
  • 2 epilogues
  • Funny and dramatic story
