Hyper patch 1.3.0

Hello! 1.3.0 Hyper Patch squashes some bugs, adjust some numbers and adds many NEW CARDS. Hope you like it!

Important Changes
  • Starting LCK raised to 90%
  • “Bleed” now stacks and will lose HP by 2 x duration of status
  • “Fear” is no longer a direct HP reduction and now does damage that can be mitigated using barriers
  • “Zero Evade” card has changed to: 100% fixed chance to evade incoming attack & damage from thorn armor. Lose all Zero Evade status after receiving attack
  • No more Luck Up card for players
  • Each trial option in adventure adds 150 bonus XP when victorious

NEW Cards
  • Assassinate: Dual Strike. ATK = number of attack cards on field
  • Blood Spark: Inflict 1 Bleed to all & gain 1 Blood Lust
  • Aegis: gain Barrier & activate Burnout
  • Synthesis: Absorb Barrier to recover HP. Gain Barrier afterwards
  • Clutch Barrier: Gain 1 Clutch Barrier Status - Gain Barrier after attacked
  • Fate Strike: Attack by ATK +1 with 100% LCK
  • Fate Shield: Gain Barrier & raise LCK by 5%
  • Bless: Gain 2 Bless status - Gain Luck Up & return Attack cards in hand to deck and draw new cards at end of phase
  • Illusion: gain 2 Illusion status - chance to inflict Fear when HP is reduced by attack
  • Intimidate: activate Refresh & Burnout
  • Vampiric Brace: gain 1 Vampiric Fangs & Attack Up
  • Fear Armor: Gain 1 Thorn Armor & 1 Illusion
  • Hope: Recover HP by 15 & gain Barrier
  • Scramble: Reorder next phase field cards to have player cards first
  • Bolt: Cancel & return the card after this card

Balance Changes
  • “Spike Shield” now adds “Fracture” to hand
  • “Swift Shoes” triggers “Zero Evade” at the start of battle
  • “Small Shield” now has 50% chance to trigger
  • “Blue Rose” gives 5 roses from 4
  • “Burnout” is now level I
  • “En Garde” is now level IV
  • Risky Style starts with 2 more Barrier cards
  • Luck upgrade between stages reduced to 5%
  • You can retry treasure lock after failing for 2 roses
  • Biter’s attack lowered to 3
  • Elite Fallen Maid’s attack lowered to 6
  • Malice’s attack lowered to 6
  • Yunice’s DEF lowered to 7
  • Vampire Doll’s HP raised to 40, ATK lowered to 4
  • Guardian’s HP +10

Bug fix
  • issue where bunny skin did not unlock after 1.2.0
  • issue where you can't click on some notes
  • issue where redraw cost trial modifier didn't work in adventure

super patch 1.2.0

Hello! The theme of 1.2.0 patch is about expanding your choices. Thank you for your feedback and patience!

  • New card “Shield” replaces “Barrier” in the starting deck.
  • “Feast” card now also activates 2 Vampiric Fangs
  • Roses earned from maid rescue is equal to roses earned killing a crown phantom
  • Roses earned from phantoms increase with stage level
  • “berserk” skill now gains duration of 2 after activation
  • level IV skill cards are now more expensive to copy and buy
  • number of dual strike in starting deck to 3
  • vera’s “sensitive” debuff duration increased to 3 (from 2)
  • marionette’s initial atk increased to 2 (from 1)
  • vampire doll’s attack decreased to 5 (from 6)
  • value of item “safety pin” increased to 4 (from 2)
  • torn flag activation percentage value raised to 50% (from 25%)
  • Risky style’s Phantoms now all have a permanent passive skill

  • Added “trial options” to adventure mode for players that want to play the game with crown trial modifiers! You can select these during starting item select.

  • Fixed issue where skin doesn’t show unlocked in archives even though it’s unlocked in game
  • Fixed rare issue where sometimes clicking on note doesn’t reveal note
  • Fixed issue where gift box wouldn’t work in crown trial. Now Ariel will happily accept your bribe
  • Fixed issue where HP penalty occurs even after blue rose has refilled rose after phase

Explanations for Shield:
Shield: gain barrier & return card to deck

Shield card is a barrier card without a skill level. Casual and Standard style starts with 5 of these cards in deck instead of 8 barrier cards.

Many sent feedback in regards to barrier card and I came to agree that maintaining and refilling barrier cards currently is an unnecessary source of stress and spending of roses because it is a must-have card in most situation.

However, this does not mean that shield card is a permanent solution to your barrier needs. 5 is enough in the early game because the card goes back to deck but players should recognize that they need to diversify their barrier option in later phase as it will be not enough. As a result, I’m hoping to see “Shield” card as a way to smooth out the initial difficulty curve than an end-all solution to your defensive needs.

Rose Reward Changes:
Defeating a crown phantom is an incredible feat but rescuing those in need should also deserve an incredible reward. As such, maids will now hand over the roses she’s been hiding in her pocket so that you’ll receive greater number of roses after rescue. I personally worry whether they’ll be able to escape safely without any roses but I’m sure they would understand.

Trial Options:

I’ve received feedback from players playing crown trial that they wanted the modifiers on adventure mode as well. So I brought them! Not all of them were applicable but players can select any number of options to make their adventure more challenging.
