Please read this "End User License Agreement" otherwise known as “EULA” carefully before installing this game. By installing, copying, and/or otherwise using this game you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. We offer the game and workshop through Steam, which is hosted by Valve S.A.R.L. (in the EU) and Valve Corporation (in the US). If you do not accept these terms, then you may not install the game.
We wanna keep it short and simple, so here's a little summary:
- This is a legally binding agreement between us and you, and it is your responsibility to read and accept it. If you are below the legal age in your country, you must ask one of your parents (or other legal guardians) to read this agreement and accept it on your behalf.
- If you break this EULA, we reserve the rights to remove your access to the game and other game services, or ask our lawyers to get in touch.
- This End User License Agreement or "EULA" may change from time to time, if we deem it necessesary - with or without notice to you.
- The game and any tools, such as the workshop and other tools, are provided on an "as is" and an "as available" basis.
Remember to not make anything available on or through our game or workshop unless you’re happy to share it with the general public, and make sure it is your own original creation. Don’t use our workshop or game for any advertising purposes, and make sure not to make anything available on or through our game which is illegal, racist, sexist, homophobic, pornographic, bullying, trolling, or which might damage our or another person‘s reputation, infringe their rights, or impersonate, trick or exploit anyone. If we are threatened or face legal action because you’ve uploaded someone else’s content, or because you break any of the other rules in this EULA, we may hold you responsible. That means you will need to compensate us, and pay us back for any damage we suffer as a result, and for our legal and other expenses.
Please note that if you break this EULA and we remove your access to the game, you’ll no longer have access to join any servers, or be able to access your inventory, including any of the associated data or content (e.g. DLCs and skins). You’ll not be entitled to any refunds and we’ll have no liability to you. We also reserve the right to remove access for other accounts you may have created, as well as your access to any other this game services (also without any refunds or liability to you). You’ll bear this risk in mind and always conduct yourself in a appropriate way when playing this game. You are also formally noticed that being toxic, cheating or otherwise creating a disturbing environment within our services may also result in you losing access to the game and associated data.
NOTE: This EULA doesn’t affect any legal rights you may have under the law that applies to you for the game which cannot be excluded or limited. Nothing we say in these terms affects those legal rights.
Please note that the Steam Subscriber Agreement changes from time to time - and our EULA might change as well - and if our EULA becomes inconsistent (in conflict) with the current Steam Subscriber Agreement, then the Steam Subscriber Agreement takes precedence. Please also note that if we release an update with a new EULA, and you launch the game, then that new EULA will apply. In that case we may not be able to / don‘t need to tell you about changes for them to have effect, so be sure to check back here from time to time.
