General Principles

1. This Mad World Operational Policy helps to protect the members' rights to use Mad World (hereinafter, 'the game') and specifies the matters needed for the smooth game operation.
Any matters not mentioned in this Operational Policy will be handled in accordance with the , , Korean laws, and general social conventions.
2. The members must comply with this Operational Policy, and in case of any violation, disadvantages may occur to the account in accordance with each regulation.
3. The Company may revise the Operational Policy for the purposes of minimizing inconvenience for the members and providing better services, and in case of revision, the related contents will be notified through the website (https://www.madworldmmo.com).
The Company may not be able to provide help with any damages or inconveniences caused by the member not complying with it or for any lack of relevant knowledge even when the Company has notified any change in accordance with the due process,

Rights and Obligations of the Members

1. The members may freely use and receive all contents provided by Mad World, and can inquire on problems while using the game through the Customer Center and receive guidance on how to solve them.
2. The ownership to the game contents, such as in-game characters and items, lies with the Company, and the members can be guaranteed with the right to withdraw from paid service subscriptions in accordance with the .
3. The members must comply with the Terms of Service and this Operational Policy, and in case of violation, the use of the service may be restricted according to the relevant policy.
4. The members have the obligation to be aware of the Terms of Service and the Operational Policy and also check on the notices on the website from time to time, and cannot receive any help from the Company for any inconveniences or damages caused by not checking on them.
5. The members must provide the accurate information on themselves when subscribing for the membership. If one enters or registers any false member information or steals other's personal information or other’s identity information, one cannot receive help from the Company and may be liable for the theft of personal information.
6. The members must notify the Company through the Customer Center when they find bugs or errors or loopholes in the game system while using the service, and must not abuse or disseminate methods of abuse to the other members regardless of whether notification is made. Any violation of such may result in sanctions set forth under this Operational Policy and other laws, depending on the gravity of the matter.
7. The members have the obligation to manage their own information and protect their accounts, and if any damage is caused by a third party logging into the member's account due to the member's negligence for information management, any help from the Company cannot be provided.
8. The members must not engage in any illegal activities that may interfere with the other members' use of the game or adversely affect the game services, and also have the obligation to actively respond to the GM's consultation and requests. Furthermore, if one does not comply with the GM's request for cooperation under investigation, it may be determined to be related to illegal activities and actions may be taken according to the use restriction policy.
9. If one violates the other than the matters specified in the above, one may be subjected to the restrictions on game use without the provision of a prior notice.

Roles and Responsibilities of the GM

1. What is a Game Master (GM)? It is called “GM” and refers to the administrator. The GM does the best he or she can to ensure that all members who use the game enjoy the right to pursue enjoyment in the game.
2. What is the GM character? It means the in-game character used by “GM”.
3. For the stable service, GM must make efforts to promptly handle any problems in case of failure, and will inform you on the problems in this connection through the official website. Furthermore, if necessary, the GM character can be used to address the difficulties which the users experience in-game.
4. The GM will never require any of the items below from the members.
1) The Company will protect the member's information in accordance with the related laws and regulations and the .
2) The GM does not require, nor modify or leak any personal information of the members. However, if a government agency or judicial agency requests for the provision of personal information through the due process, any personal information may be provided to the relevant agency.
3) The GM does not leak the information of the members who filed reports through the Customer Center to the person reported on.
4) The GM cannot change the members’ character and item related information. However, it may be changed if absolutely necessary for the operation (recovery, issues related to account theft, and events, etc.).
5) The GM does not take any action that causes disadvantages for certain members.
6) The GM cannot provide any benefits to specific members. However, exceptions are made for the operationally required cases.
5. The GM does not intervene in the disputes between the members within the game. However, in exceptional cases, when violations of terms and conditions and operating policies, violations of public order and morals, and other game order maintenance policies are clearly identified, involvement may be made according to the policy.
6. If the GM uses a GM character due to an in-game problem, he or she does not take any action that affects the user.
1) It collectively means the items such as equipment and the act of creating and presenting items to users, other consumable items, and items necessary for quest progress. If a user has a problem and needs to provide an item, the item is provided using the management tool.
2) The act of clearing monsters, dungeons and raids, etc., on behalf of the user.

Recovery Policy

1. If an item or character is lost or if the information is changed due to a technical error in the game service, recovery is supported to the extent that it does not affect multiple members if it is possible to check on the in-game records.
2. The Company may modify, change, or delete the members’ character and item information after prior notice to the member through game planning or operational judgment, and recovery is not supported unless there is any intentional or gross negligence on the part of the Company. However, if it has a significant impact on the use of the game or negatively affects a number of the members, it may be notified afterwards, and the member cannot claim for recovery or any compensation for damages.
3. Any losses caused by the member's negligence or the member's failure to understand the instructions, such as the game system, the contents specified in the Operational Policy, the contents announced on the website, and the contents notified in the game, are not included for any recovery or compensation for damages. However, some of the losses caused by the member's negligence may be recovered according to the recovery standards below.
4. Recovery Standards

- All materials sold, dismantled, dropped, and consumed directly in the shop

- If the character is deleted by the user

- Loss of gold and crystals due to account hijacking (must be reported within 15 days of the incident)

* If it is impossible to recover directly, such as a quest item, or if it cannot be replaced with another item or method, support is provided for the recovery by taking the inquiries from the Customer Center.
* The recovery of the fixed term items purchased for fees is subject to Article 13 Paragraph 8 of the Terms of Service.
* The recovery for each item is processed based on the stored data, and any loss whose records are not confirmed cannot be recovered.
* The recovery has a period available for each item, and separate support is not available for any parts that cannot be restored directly because the member did not understand the contents notified.
* Whether to recover other lost contents is determined by the person in charge when taking an inquiry made with the Customer Center. However, assistance may not be available if it has a significant impact on the use of the game or negatively affects a large number of the users.
Account Theft

1. Account theft means any act that damages the account information (all information that can be verified with the account such as email, character information, items, and payment history) by accessing the account of another person's name without permission, and any act of helping with the act above or taking advantage by bandwagoning.
2. Account theft is a violation of related laws and regulations, and the Company does not take any responsibility for civil or criminal actions that may arise against the members due to any account theft. Furthermore, if it is confirmed that someone else's personal information has been stolen without permission, the use of service for all accounts in that connection may be restricted.
3. The members must use their personal information to use the game. The accounts created by using any third party’s personal information or false information cannot be claimed for any rights or hold the Company accountable under any circumstances whatsoever, and may be subject to criminal punishment according to relevant laws and regulations.
4. Any damages caused after providing account information or password for the purposes of sharing, exchanging, or trading accounts with others is not recognized as the damages caused by account theft and cannot be assisted with by the Company.
5. If any gain is acquired by trading items and goods acquired through any account theft, the use of the service may be restricted, and all of the contents acquired directly or indirectly may be recalled and deleted as unfair gains.
6. If you suspect any account theft or have suffered any damages due to an account theft, please change your account password first, and report the damages to the Customer Center within 15 days from the date on which the problem arose and you became aware of it.
7. If the use of service is restricted due to any account theft, you can file an objection through the Customer Center within 15 days if the use restriction is not related to you.

Restriction of Use Policy

1. Restriction of use means the act of taking a temporary or permanent measure applied to the account or character of the member who violates the service terms and conditions and operation policy with a view to protect the pleasant and safe activities of the members using the Company's services.
2. The types of sanctions are as follows.
1) Warning: It is a phase of warning or recommending that sanctions may be imposed for any policy violations, and upon warning, game termination, chat ban, and other behavior restrictions may also be applied.
2) Chat ban: It is a sanction that restricts the use of the game's chat service for a certain period of time for any policy violations.
3) Prohibition of game use: It is a sanction that restricts the use of game services for a certain period of time for any policy violations.
4) Permanent restriction of use: It is a sanction that permanently restricts the use of game services for any policy violations.

* Even if the reason for sanctions is the same, the content of the sanctions may be aggravated according to the judgment of the management team.
* If two or more policy violations are identified at the same time, the Company may proceed with taking a higher level of sanctions for each act of violation.
* If any policy violations are repeated or illegal activities with serious in-game effects are discovered, permanent sanctions may be imposed and use of service agreements may be restricted for all accounts under the same name.
* If the same member repeatedly violates the policy or if the extent is serious, a higher level of sanctions than the standards specified in the table above may be applied.
* All unfair gains acquired through any policy violations will be recovered, and if the acquired unfair gains have already been used, they can be replaced with any goods of similar values.
* Even if you do not directly violate the Operational Policy, if you collude with the violator to take advantage of the game or share unfair gains, you may be subjected to the same level of sanctions as the policy violator, or the unfair gains may be recovered.
* Any bypass access using a virtual private network (VPN) is not recognized as a normal way to use the game, and the act of bypassing the IP to access will be considered an illegal use of the program or workplace, and your account may be sanctioned. Furthermore, the Company does not provide any assistance for the problems caused by using a virtual private network.
* Any characters sanctioned according to the Restriction of Use Policy may be excluded from various ranking contents, and may be excluded from receiving compensations according to ranking, or the relevant compensation may be recovered.
* If some of the game contents are damaged due to the member being banned from using the game for any reasons imputable to the member, it will not be included for the compensation for damages, and the Company will not be liable for it in any manner whatsoever.
* Even if it is not specified in the standard table above, any periodic and permanent sanctions may be applied to any act that causes damages to the game and other members.

Filing of Objection

1. Filing of objection means any act of requesting for the confirmation of the Company's sanctions once again when a member is sanctioned for violating the Terms of Service and the Operational Policy. If it is determined that there is something wrong in the intensity of the sanction and the reason for the sanction, the member may file an objection at any time through the Customer Center.
2. An objection may only be filed by the account member him or herself, and may be filed by accessing the Customer Center after logging in to the website.
3. If a member files an objection against the details and the intensity of the relevant sanction, the Company may conduct a reinvestigation of the relevant measure, and after check, if there is anything wrong, a reevaluation may be conducted.
4. The acceptance of the filing of objection to the permanent suspension is limited to once per account, and if the relevant sanction is lifted and then sanctioned again for the filing of the same objection, you will not be able to receive any help. The same applies to the recovery of damages caused by any account theft.
