End User License Agreement
Effective Date: September 4, 2026

This agreement covers software published by Grey Line Interactive LLC, including WICKLING. If you obtained the software through Steam, your purchase is also governed by the Steam Subscriber Agreement, and where the two disagree about the storefront, Valve's terms govern the storefront.

1. Licence
Grey Line Interactive LLC ("we", "us") grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the software for your own private, non-commercial use, on the platforms it is distributed for, for as long as you hold a valid entitlement to it.

You own your copy of the software in the ordinary sense; you do not own the software itself. We retain all rights not expressly granted here.

2. What you may do
Install and play it on the devices you personally use.
Make backup copies for your own use.
Record, stream, broadcast and monetise video and screenshots of the software, including on advertising-supported and subscription platforms, without further permission and without paying us. This permission covers gameplay footage, commentary and reviews. It does not extend to distributing the software itself or its assets as files.
3. What you may not do
Copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise redistribute the software or any part of it.
Extract, repackage or redistribute its art, audio, level data, text or code as standalone assets.
Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits despite this restriction.
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark or attribution notice.
Use it to develop a competing product, or use its assets in another product.
Circumvent, disable or interfere with any licensing or anti-piracy measure.
4. Third-party components
The software includes open-source components under their own licences, including Ebitengine and parts of the Go standard library under the Apache License 2.0 and the BSD 3-Clause License. Those licences govern those components and nothing in this agreement limits your rights under them. The full texts ship with the software in THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt.

The software also uses the Steamworks SDK, which is Valve Corporation's and is provided under Valve's own terms.

5. Updates
We may release updates, patches and changes to the software. Updates are provided under this same agreement. We are not obligated to provide updates, continued availability, or support for any particular period.

6. Data
The software does not collect, transmit or store personal data. It has no analytics or telemetry. Save files are written to your own device and, where you are signed in to Steam, to Steam Cloud under your own Steam account, governed by Valve's terms. See our Privacy Policy.

7. Termination
This licence ends if you materially breach it. On termination you must stop using the software and delete your copies. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9 and 10 survive termination.

8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so this exclusion may not apply to you, and you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Nothing here limits any non-waivable statutory consumer right.

9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREY LINE INTERACTIVE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the software.

Nothing in this agreement excludes liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

10. Health warning
A very small proportion of people may experience seizures when exposed to certain flashing lights or patterns. The software contains brief flashing frames as part of its horror content. These can be disabled in Options → Horror → Reduced. If you experience dizziness, altered vision, disorientation, involuntary movements or convulsions, stop playing immediately and consult a doctor.

11. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence.
