END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT
TOWER LEGENDS

Last updated: 25 July 2026

This End User License Agreement, referred to as the “Agreement,” is between you and Cyril Cardon, an independent game developer and publisher based in France.

This Agreement applies to the video game Tower Legends, including its software, content, updates and downloadable content, collectively referred to as the “Game.”

By downloading, installing or playing the Game, you agree to this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.

Your use of Steam, including your Steam account, purchases and refunds, is also governed by the applicable Steam terms.

1. Licence

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to install and play the Game for your own private and non-commercial use through a valid Steam account.

The Game is licensed to you, not sold. You do not acquire ownership of the Game or any of its content.

2. Restrictions

Except where permitted by applicable law, you may not:

copy, sell, rent, distribute or sublicense the Game;
modify, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the Game;
extract or redistribute the Game’s graphics, music, sounds, code or other assets;
bypass security, access-control or digital-rights-management systems;
use cheats, bots, exploits or unauthorized software that modifies the Game;
use the Game for an unlawful purpose.

You may create and monetize gameplay videos, reviews, screenshots and livestreams, provided that you do not distribute the Game or its assets separately or claim that your content is officially endorsed by the developer.

3. Ownership

The Game and all associated intellectual-property rights belong to Cyril Cardon or the relevant third-party licensors.

This includes the Game’s code, graphics, characters, music, sound effects, text, gameplay elements, logos and the name Tower Legends.

Third-party software or content included in the Game may be subject to separate licence terms.

4. Updates and availability

The Game may be updated or modified to fix bugs, improve performance, maintain compatibility, add or change content, improve security or comply with legal requirements.

Some features may change or be removed over time.

The Game may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, Steam availability or circumstances outside the developer’s reasonable control.

5. Warranties and liability

Software may contain bugs or technical problems. The Game is not guaranteed to operate without interruption or to be compatible with every computer, operating system, driver or hardware configuration.

To the extent permitted by law, Cyril Cardon is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for problems caused by:

unsupported hardware or software;
unauthorized modifications or cheats;
third-party services;
misuse of the Game;
events outside the developer’s reasonable control.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits any consumer right, legal warranty or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

6. Privacy

Any personal data directly collected through the Game will be handled in accordance with applicable data-protection law and the Tower Legends Privacy Policy, where applicable.

Steam separately handles information associated with your Steam account, purchases and use of Steam under Valve’s own terms and privacy policy.

7. Termination

You may end this Agreement at any time by stopping use of the Game and uninstalling it.

Your licence may be terminated if you seriously or repeatedly violate this Agreement. If that happens, you must stop using the Game.

Termination does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you may have.

8. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by French law.

If you are a consumer living outside France, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protection provided by the law of your country of residence.

Any dispute may be brought before a court having jurisdiction under applicable law.

9. General provisions

If any part of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply.

This Agreement may be updated when reasonably necessary to reflect changes to the Game, applicable law or security requirements. Material changes will be communicated through Steam or another appropriate method.
