End User License Agreement
Contracting Party: HOGETT Co., Ltd.
Commissioning Party and Rights Licensor: HEAD2HEAD SDN. BHD.
Product: Steam Version of BOKU-SAGA
Effective Date: August 18, 2026
This End User License Agreement (the “EULA”) sets out the terms between you (“User”) and HOGETT Co., Ltd. (“Company”) for the Steam version of BOKU-SAGA, which the Company provides and operates under commission from and pursuant to the necessary rights granted by HEAD2HEAD SDN. BHD.
1. Scope and Acceptance
1. This EULA applies only to the BOKU-SAGA software distributed through Steam, including its related data, updates, and online services (collectively, the “Product”).
2. By installing, launching, or using the Product, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, you may not install, launch, or use the Product.
3. You must also comply with the Steam Subscriber Agreement and any other applicable terms established by Steam.
4. If you are a minor, you must obtain consent from your parent or legal guardian before using the Product.
2. License Grant
1. Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the applicable Steam terms, the Company grants you a limited, personal, non-commercial, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the Product.
2. The Product is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted under this EULA are reserved by the Company or the applicable rights holder.
3. You may use the Product only through a Steam account and compatible devices that you lawfully control.
3. Accounts
1. A Steam account and a game account designated by the Company may be required to use all or part of the Product.
2. You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and current and for protecting your authentication credentials.
3. You may not transfer, lend, sell, share, or permit another person to use your account or authentication credentials.
4. If you become aware of unauthorized use or suspected unauthorized use, you must promptly contact the Company and, where appropriate, Steam.
4. Prohibited Conduct
You may not engage in any of the following in connection with the Product:
1. violating any law, this EULA, applicable Steam terms, or public order and morals;
2. modifying, adapting, reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Product, except to the limited extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
3. using, creating, distributing, or facilitating cheats, bots, unauthorized external tools, exploits, or other unintended means;
4. accessing without authorization, disrupting, or placing an excessive load on the Product, its servers or networks, or another User's account;
5. infringing the copyright, trademark, privacy, reputation, or other rights of the Company or any third party;
6. copying, redistributing, selling, lending, or commercially exploiting the Product or an account without authorization;
7. harassing, discriminating against, threatening, impersonating, defrauding, or otherwise harming another person; or
8. attempting, soliciting, assisting, or facilitating any of the conduct listed above.
5. Intellectual Property
1. All intellectual property rights in the software, graphics, video, audio, text, characters, names, logos, data, and other content that make up the Product are owned by HEAD2HEAD SDN. BHD., the Company, or their respective lawful third-party owners.
2. This EULA does not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.
3. Third-party software or content may be subject to additional terms established by the relevant third party.
6. Online Services, Updates, and Maintenance
1. An internet connection, access to online servers, and installation of updates may be required to use the Product. You are responsible for communication charges and other costs associated with your environment.
2. The Company may update, change, or modify the Product as reasonably necessary for security, legal or platform compliance, feature improvements, or operations.
3. The Company may temporarily suspend or discontinue all or part of the Product due to maintenance, failure, security concerns, force majeure, or another reasonable cause. Where practicable, the Company will provide advance notice by a reasonable method.
7. Purchases and Externally Acquired Content in the Steam Version
1. The Steam version does not provide an in-game purchase feature or any function that directs users from the Steam version to an external storefront or payment page.
2. Eligible items or other entitlements lawfully acquired outside Steam may be displayed or usable in the Steam version, subject to conditions established by the Company, their registration status with the applicable game account, and applicable platform rules.
3. Users cannot purchase, sell, transfer, exchange, or convert such externally acquired items or entitlements into cash within or through the Steam version.
4. The preceding two paragraphs do not guarantee that all content acquired outside Steam is or will remain displayed or usable in the Steam version. Eligibility, conditions of use, and availability may change due to law, platform rules, or technical or operational requirements.
8. Suspension and Termination
1. You may terminate this EULA by ceasing use of and uninstalling the Product.
2. If you breach this EULA, the Company may restrict or suspend your access to the Product or terminate this EULA in accordance with applicable law and applicable Steam terms.
3. Upon termination of this EULA, you must stop using the Product and delete any copies under your control.
4. Game data and personal information following termination will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the Privacy Policy.
5. Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, governing law, and jurisdiction that by their nature should survive will remain effective after termination.
9. Privacy
The Company handles personal information relating to the Product in accordance with applicable law and its Privacy Policy. Please review that policy before using the Product.
10. Warranties, Disclaimers, and Limitation of Liability
1. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Product is provided “as is” and “as available.” The Company does not warrant that the Product will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
2. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or loss of data arising from the use of or inability to use the Product.
3. If you incur loss due to a cause attributable to the Company, the Company will be liable for ordinary and direct damages to the extent required by applicable law.
4. This Section does not apply to the extent a limitation is prohibited by mandatory law, including where the loss results from the Company's intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
1. This EULA is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
2. The Nagoya District Court will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes arising between you and the Company in connection with this EULA or the Product, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
3. If any provision of this EULA is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
12. Changes
1. The Company may amend this EULA where reasonably necessary due to changes in law, the Product, or its operations.
2. The amended terms and their effective date will be announced on this page or by another reasonable method. Material changes will be announced in advance by an appropriate method as required by applicable law.
3. If you use the Product on or after the effective date of an amendment, you will be deemed to have accepted the amended EULA, except where applicable law requires separate consent.
