# Augmented Yut — Supplemental Terms of Use for Steam
- Operator: Ausuruk Games
- Contact: ausuruk@gmail.com
- Effective date: September 21, 2026
## Article 1. Scope
1. These Terms set out the conditions governing the game-specific features of Augmented Yut (the “Game”), provided through Steam by Ausuruk Games (the “Operator”), and the relationship between the Operator and users of the Game.
2. Steam accounts, purchases, payments, refunds, licenses to use games, and the general obligations of Steam users are governed, within their respective scope, by the [Steam Subscriber Agreement](https://store.steampowered.com/subscriber_agreement/?l=english) and the policies incorporated into it. Information about purchase refunds is available in the [Steam Refund Policy](https://store.steampowered.com/steam_refunds/?l=english).
3. These Terms do not amend the agreement between you and Valve. The Operator’s obligations under applicable law and your statutory rights remain unaffected. These Terms also do not restrict any rights granted by separate licenses for third-party components used in the Game.
## Article 2. Online Matches and Gameplay
1. The Game provides matches that combine Yut gameplay with augment selection and special effects, as well as a tutorial for learning the controls. Online matches require an internet connection, Steam login, authentication with the Game’s server, and mutually compatible versions of the Game.
2. You can create public or private rooms, join a room using its code, or use quick join to find an available public room. After players join, the room host starts the match from the lobby. Room availability and waiting times depend on the number of connected players and the status of the service.
3. The nickname you enter is displayed to other users in the same room. Anyone who receives a room code may be able to join that room, so you should check whom you share it with.
4. In matches with a time limit, expiration of the time allowed for input may result in automatic movement or selection, forfeiture of remaining actions, or the end of a turn, as determined by the Game’s rules.
5. If you are treated as having left a match because you leave or lose your connection, your ongoing actions, pieces, augments, and results are handled according to the Game’s rules. Connection conditions may delay or end a match. Rejoining an interrupted match or restoring an individual match state is not always available.
6. Achievements and statistics generated in the Game are recorded on Steam. This requires a connection to Steam and the relevant features to function properly. Service failures may delay or prevent those records from being updated.
## Article 3. In-Game Conduct and Support
1. In addition to the general obligations of Steam users, you must not send falsified match requests to the Game’s separate online server or bypass its authentication or access restrictions to manipulate match state or other users’ data. Nicknames entered directly in the Game must not contain another person’s personal information without authorization or be used to impersonate or threaten others.
2. Capturing an opponent’s pieces or using augment effects within the normal rules of the Game, merely losing a match, or experiencing a connection failure that has not been established to be intentional will not, by itself, be treated as a violation.
3. You can contact ausuruk@gmail.com about errors or suspected misconduct. The Operator will request only the information necessary to review the facts and explain the available response and outcome. The Game does not have user-accessible reporting or blocking menus. This support process does not guarantee immediate enforcement or the correction or restoration of individual match results.
## Article 4. Game Data Processed by the Operator
1. The Operator processes Steam identification and authentication information, server-assigned user identifiers, nicknames, room information, and match data as needed for online authentication, room participation, and match synchronization. The Game uses Supabase, an external server service, for its online features.
2. Your language, fullscreen and volume settings, and the nickname you enter are stored on your device. The Game’s achievements and statistics are also transmitted to Steam.
3. Room information, participation records, nicknames, and match data on the Operator’s servers become eligible for deletion 24 hours after the server marks the room as ended. Records of participants who leave a waiting room become eligible 24 hours after their departure is recorded; records needed for an ongoing match remain until the room ends. Returning to the same room’s lobby after a match immediately deletes the previous match’s transmission records.
4. Authentication session hashes and their associated records become eligible for deletion 24 hours after session expiration or revocation. Links between platform identifiers and server-assigned user identifiers are deleted once 24 hours have passed since the last authentication and all associated session, room, and participation records have been removed. IP-derived hashes, request counts, and timing information used to limit authentication abuse become eligible for deletion 24 hours after the relevant rate-limit window ends.
5. Steam authentication ticket hashes and redemption times are retained to prevent ticket reuse. The Steam account ID associated with each ticket is removed once 24 hours have passed since redemption.
6. A cleanup job is scheduled when a deletion target arises or its eligibility time becomes known. Deletion takes place in the scheduled job after the applicable 24-hour period. No periodic deletion checks run when there are no targets. Device settings remain until you change or delete them. Information and backups independently retained by Steam or the server service provider are subject to that provider’s retention policies. Deleting the Game or local settings does not mean that all server data has been deleted.
7. Personal information deletion requests are accepted by email at ausuruk@gmail.com.
## Article 5. Game Updates and Operation of Online Services
1. The Operator may update the Game to address errors, security, compatibility, or game balance.
2. If maintenance or an outage affects the Operator’s online service, the Operator will take appropriate steps to restore service and keep users informed. If the Operator permanently discontinues all or a substantial part of the online service, the Operator will normally provide at least 30 days’ advance notice of the termination date, reasons, effects on use, and user protection measures, including refunds. Any longer notice period required by law will apply. If advance notice is unavoidably impracticable, the Operator will provide notice without delay, including the reasons for the lack of advance notice.
3. This Article concerns the game services provided by the Operator, separately from Steam’s own operating policies. The Operator’s liability for changes, outages, or termination is governed by applicable law and the applicable agreements.
## Article 6. Notice, Changes to These Supplemental Terms, and Termination
1. The Operator will publish these supplemental Terms so that users can review them before entering into the agreement, draw attention to important provisions, and obtain users’ agreement.
2. When the Operator changes these supplemental Terms, the Operator will normally give at least 7 days’ advance notice of the changes, reasons, and effective date, or at least 30 days’ advance notice for changes that are unfavorable to users or material. Any longer notice period or separate consent required by law will apply. A failure to respond alone will not be treated as consent.
3. If you disagree with changes or wish to terminate your agreement with the Operator, you may submit a request to the contact email above. This is separate from closing your Steam account and does not restrict your statutory rights to refunds or other remedies. Disputes between you and the Operator are subject to the procedures provided by applicable law.
## Effective Date
These Terms take effect on September 21, 2026.
