1. Acceptance of this Agreement
By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Pirates Life ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Game.
2. License Grant
The Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the Game for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment.
This license does not transfer ownership of the Game or any intellectual property rights.
3. Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in Pirates Life, including its software, source code, artwork, music, models, animations, trademarks, logos, and all other content, remain the exclusive property of the Developer or their respective licensors.
4. AI-Assisted Development
Certain assets or content within the Game may have been created or refined using AI-assisted development tools. All such content has been reviewed, modified where appropriate, and integrated into the Game by the Developer.
No AI systems are used during gameplay or at runtime.
5. Restrictions
You may not:
Copy, distribute, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Game.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the Game except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
Use cheats, hacks, bots, scripts, exploits, or unauthorized third-party software.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Game, its servers, or other player accounts.
Exploit bugs, glitches, or unintended game mechanics to gain an unfair advantage.
Disrupt, interfere with, or negatively affect the online experience of other players.
6. Online Services
Pirates Life requires an internet connection to access gameplay and online features.
The Developer may perform maintenance, modify, suspend, or discontinue online services at any time without prior notice. While reasonable efforts will be made to maintain service availability, uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
7. Updates
The Game may receive updates, patches, hotfixes, bug fixes, balance adjustments, security improvements, and additional content.
Continued use of the Game after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
8. Player Conduct
Players agree to:
Respect other players.
Refrain from harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or abusive behavior.
Not use cheats, exploits, bots, hacks, or unauthorized software.
Follow all community rules published by the Developer.
Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, or other enforcement actions at the Developer's discretion.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights relating to Pirates Life remain the property of the Developer or their licensors.
No ownership rights are transferred to the player under this Agreement.
10. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Game is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
The Developer does not guarantee that the Game will always operate without interruption, be error-free, or meet every player's expectations.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Game or its online services.
12. Termination
This license automatically terminates if you violate this Agreement.
The Developer reserves the right to suspend or permanently revoke access to the Game or its online services if this Agreement is violated.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Changes to this Agreement
The Developer reserves the right to modify this EULA at any time.
The latest version will be made available through the official Pirates Life website. Continued use of the Game after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
