This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User”) and YOKATA forest words (“Developer”) for the use of CityExplorer (“Software”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. License Grant
The Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the Software for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

2. Restrictions
You may NOT:

Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or modify the Software
Redistribute, sublicense, sell, or otherwise transfer the Software or any portion thereof
Use external tools to tamper with or alter game data files
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Software
Use the Software for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from the Developer
3. Third-Party API Usage
The Software uses third-party external APIs to provide map, AI, and facility information. API keys for all services are managed exclusively on the Developer’s server infrastructure and are never embedded in the client package. Certain features are delivered through the Developer’s relay service. The Software also integrates Valve Corporation’s Steamworks SDK to provide platform authentication, achievements, leaderboards, and cloud save functionality. By using the Software, you agree to comply with the terms of service of each applicable third-party service. You are not required to obtain or enter API keys for standard use.

4. AI-Generated Content
The Software may display regional information generated by AI services (Google Gemini). The Developer does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content. Such content is provided for informational purposes only.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Disruption or unavailability of the Developer’s relay service or external API services
Feature unavailability caused by relay service failures, network disruptions, API specification changes, or service terminations beyond the Developer’s control
Disruption or unavailability of Steam platform services (including Steam authentication, Steam Cloud, and other Steamworks features) caused by Valve Corporation or network conditions beyond the Developer’s control
Loss, corruption, or synchronization failure of save data stored via Steam Cloud
Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
Data loss or corruption of local save files
7. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies.

8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Japan.

9. In-App Purchase Pricing
Prices for in-app purchases (e.g. quota packs) are set by the Developer and are subject to change in the future due to changes in external API pricing structures, growth in the user base, or other operational circumstances. The Developer will provide advance notice of any price changes. Continued use of the Software after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.
