End User License Agreement (EULA)
DogaakDogaak — Keyboard Sound Software
Effective date: September 10, 2026
Licensor: Natdal (낮달), a sole proprietorship of KIM DONG HUN, Republic of Korea
("Developer", "we")
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and the
Developer for the software product DogaakDogaak, including any
updates (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement.
If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
The Software is distributed via Steam. Your use of Steam is additionally governed by the
Steam Subscriber Agreement and related Valve policies. Where this Agreement conflicts with
the Steam Subscriber Agreement regarding Steam platform features (purchases, refunds,
Workshop), the Steam Subscriber Agreement prevails.
1. License Grant
Subject to this Agreement, the Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices associated
with your Steam account, for personal, non-commercial use.
The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by the
Developer.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- copy, distribute, rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer the
Software to any third party, except as permitted by Steam (e.g., Steam Family features
where available);
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, except to the extent such
restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- remove or alter any proprietary notices in the Software;
- use the Software to develop or distribute malicious software, or misrepresent the
Software's keyboard-input behavior (see Section 4).
3. User-Generated Content (Steam Workshop)
The Software supports creating and sharing sound packs via Steam Workshop ("UGC").
- Your content stays yours. You retain ownership of sound packs you create.
- Your responsibility. You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary
rights to any audio and images you upload, and that your uploads do not infringe any
third party's rights (including copyright, trademark, and publicity rights) or violate
applicable law or the Steam Workshop terms.
- License to operate. By uploading UGC, you grant licenses as set out in the Steam
Subscriber Agreement (Workshop provisions), which allow the content to be distributed to
and used by other users of the Software through Steam Workshop.
- Moderation. The Developer may remove or request removal of UGC that is reported as
infringing, unlawful, or in violation of the published Workshop content guidelines.
Repeat infringement may result in removal of Workshop access to the extent supported by
Steam.
- Takedown requests. Rights holders may report infringing UGC via Steam's reporting
tools or by contacting support@natdal.app.
4. Keyboard Input; Privacy
To play typing sounds, the Software listens for keyboard press/release events system-wide
while it is running. The Software does not record, store, log, or transmit what you
type. Key events are used in memory solely to trigger sounds and are immediately
discarded. Details are described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into this
Agreement by reference.
5. Updates
The Developer may provide updates, fixes, or modifications to the Software via Steam.
Updates may be applied automatically by the Steam client. This Agreement applies to all
updates unless a separate agreement accompanies them.
6. Third-Party Components
The Software includes third-party components, including the Steamworks SDK (Valve
Corporation) and Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime, and open-source software listed in the
THIRD-PARTY NOTICES file distributed with the Software. Those components are governed by
their own license terms.
7. Disclaimer of Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE
WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF
IMPLIED WARRANTIES; IN THAT CASE THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT
PERMITTED BY LAW, AND YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER ARE NOT AFFECTED.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR
ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF
DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT OR THE USE OF THE
SOFTWARE. THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID
FOR THE SOFTWARE. NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT LIMITS LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL
MISCONDUCT, OR ANY LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
9. Refunds
Purchases made through Steam are subject to Valve's Steam refund policy. The Developer
does not process payments or refunds directly.
10. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you fail to
comply with its terms. Upon termination you must cease using and uninstall the Software.
Sections 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 11 survive termination.
11. Governing Law; Disputes
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to
conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer residing in another jurisdiction, you retain
any mandatory consumer protections of your place of residence. Disputes shall be submitted
to the competent court under applicable law.
12. Changes to This Agreement
The Developer may update this Agreement for new features or legal requirements. Material
changes will be announced via the Steam store page or in-product notice. Continued use of
the Software after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
