End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Youyi (游译) ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the software product Youyi (游译) (the "Software").
By installing, downloading, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree to this Agreement, do not install or use the Software.
1. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software solely for your personal use or for internal use within your organization, subject to the terms of this Agreement.
2. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. No ownership rights are transferred to you. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including its code, interface, documentation, trademarks, names, and all other related content, are owned by Youyi (游译) or its licensors.
3. Restrictions on Use
Unless expressly permitted by law or by our prior written consent, you may not:
(1) copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or transfer the Software;
(2) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software;
(3) remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices contained in the Software;
(4) use the Software for any unlawful, infringing, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise improper purpose; or
(5) interfere with, damage, or circumvent the security mechanisms, licensing controls, or service limitations of the Software.
4. Third-Party Components and Services
The Software may operate together with third-party software, models, drivers, services, or content, including but not limited to voice drivers, operating system components, local models, online translation services, or third-party APIs. Such third-party content is governed by its own license agreements, terms of service, and privacy policies. We do not own any rights in such third-party content, and we do not guarantee its continued availability, compatibility, or performance.
5. Local Experimental Features
Certain features of the Software may be marked as "experimental". The current Steam base package may include the local ASR runtime, `Qwen3-ASR-0.6B`, and the default `CosyVoice3 GGUF` models (`Q5_K_M + Q6_K`), but local translation backend models or other extended models may still require separate setup by you. Such features may perform differently depending on your hardware, drivers, network, region, system permissions, or the status of third-party components. You understand and agree that experimental features may involve reduced performance, compatibility issues, increased resource usage, or functional interruptions.
6. User Content and Responsibility
You are responsible for any voice, text, or other content that is processed, entered, recorded, transmitted, translated, or output through the Software. You represent and warrant that you have the right to process such content and, where applicable, have obtained all necessary authorizations or consents. You may not use the Software to process any content that violates applicable law or infringes the rights of others.
7. Updates and Changes
We may, at our sole discretion, release updates, patches, fixes, feature adjustments, or discontinue support for certain features. Any updated version of the Software remains subject to this Agreement. Certain features may be modified, restricted, or removed due to version upgrades, changes in third-party services, or compatibility reasons.
8. Disclaimer
The Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, absence of viruses, accuracy, reliability of results, or continued compatibility with third-party services.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or related to the use of, or inability to use, the Software, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, loss of profits, device failure, unavailability of third-party services, or model/driver compatibility issues.
In no event shall our total cumulative liability to you exceed the amount you actually paid for the Software; if the Software is provided free of charge, the liability cap shall be zero or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law.
10. Termination
If you violate this Agreement, we may terminate your license to use the Software without prior notice. Upon termination, you must immediately stop using the Software and delete or destroy all copies in your possession or control.
11. Export Control and Compliance
You agree to comply with all applicable export control, sanctions, data protection, cybersecurity, and other laws and regulations, and not to use the Software for any prohibited purpose or in any prohibited jurisdiction.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted to the People's Courts in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, China.
13. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the Software and supersedes all prior oral or written statements, understandings, or agreements relating to the Software.
