End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Youyi ("we", "us", or "our") regarding your installation, access to, and use of the software product Youyi (the "Software").
By installing, downloading, accessing, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License Grant
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software for your personal use, or for internal use within your organization, subject to this Agreement.
2. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. No ownership rights are transferred to you. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software, including its code, interface, documentation, names, trademarks, and related content, are owned by Youyi or its licensors.
3. Restrictions
Unless expressly permitted by law or by our prior written consent, you may not:
(1) copy, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or transfer the Software;
(2) reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the Software;
(3) remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
(4) use the Software for any unlawful, infringing, harassing, fraudulent, or otherwise improper purpose; or
(5) interfere with, damage, or circumvent the Software's security mechanisms, licensing controls, or service limitations.
4. Third-Party Components and Dependencies
The Software may operate together with third-party drivers, operating system components, Steamworks runtime components, virtual audio drivers, hardware drivers, or bundled local model runtime components. Such third-party items are governed by their own terms, licenses, or policies. We do not own those rights and do not guarantee their continued availability, compatibility, or performance.
5. Current Steam Built-In Translation Experience
The current Steam edition provides built-in translation functionality by default. For that core experience, the user does not need to separately obtain, enter, or manage third-party AI service credentials, nor separately pay any third-party AI provider, in order to use the core Steam build translation functionality.
6. VB-CABLE and Audio Routing
Launching the application itself does not require VB-CABLE. VB-CABLE may only be relevant after launch for certain audio-routing scenarios, such as virtual microphone output, some bidirectional voice-routing workflows, or some music / audio relay workflows. You understand and agree that these routing capabilities may depend on hardware, drivers, permissions, target app behavior, and the Windows audio environment.
7. Local Experimental Features and Resource Usage
Certain features may be marked as experimental or local-workflow-related. Even when the Steam package includes the relevant local runtime components, performance may vary depending on hardware capability, VRAM, system RAM, storage speed, driver compatibility, or first-run cold-start behavior. You understand and agree that such features may involve slower cold starts, higher resource usage, compatibility issues, or interruptions.
8. User Content and Responsibility
You are responsible for any voice, text, or other content processed, entered, recorded, transmitted, transcribed, translated, or output through the Software. You represent and warrant that you have the right to process such content and, where applicable, have obtained all necessary permissions or consents.
9. Updates and Changes
We may release updates, patches, fixes, or feature adjustments, or discontinue support for certain features, at our sole discretion. Updated versions remain subject to this Agreement.
10. Disclaimer
The Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, absence of viruses, accuracy, reliability of results, or continued compatibility with third-party components.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from or related to the use of, or inability to use, the Software, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, loss of profits, device failure, unavailability of third-party components, or model / driver compatibility issues.
Our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Software; if the Software was provided free of charge, the liability cap shall be zero or the minimum amount permitted by law.
12. Termination
If you violate this Agreement, we may terminate your license without prior notice. Upon termination, you must stop using the Software and delete or destroy all copies in your possession or control.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be submitted to the People's Courts in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, China.
14. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Software and supersedes prior oral or written statements relating to it.
