This End-User License Agreement (the "Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User" or "you") and Liu Dehua, the developer of Don't Make a Sound (the "Game") ("Licensor", "we", or "us").
1. Grant of License
Subject to your acceptance and compliance with all terms of this Agreement, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download, install, and use the Game via the Steam platform, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. Restrictions
You shall not:
Copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game, in whole or in part;
Use the Game for any commercial purpose, including but not limited to renting, leasing, reselling, or for profit-generating live streaming (without our prior written consent);
Use any cheats, bots, or other unauthorized third-party software to interfere with the normal operation of the Game;
Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notice, trademark, or other intellectual property notice contained in the Game.
3. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in and to the Game (including but not limited to its code, art, music, sound effects, characters, story, names, logos, etc.) are owned by Licensor or its legal licensors. All rights not expressly granted to you under this Agreement are reserved.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR SECURITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR COMPLETELY SECURE AT ALL TIMES.
5. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR OR ITS AFFILIATES, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE GAME, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
6. Termination
This license will automatically terminate without notice if you breach any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the Game and delete all copies of the Game in your possession.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
8. Changes to This Agreement
We reserve the right to update this Agreement at any time. The updated Agreement will be posted on the Steam store page or within the Game. Your continued use of the Game constitutes your acceptance of the updated Agreement.
