This End User License Agreement, hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement,” is a legal agreement between you, the “User,” and GALMEGI Studio, the “Developer,” regarding your use of GALMEGI, the “Game.”
By downloading, installing, launching, updating, or using the Game through Steam or any other authorized platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
If you do not agree to this Agreement, do not install, launch, or use the Game.
1. Grant of License
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game for personal and non-commercial entertainment purposes, subject to the terms of this Agreement.
The Game is licensed, not sold. You do not acquire ownership of the Game, its content, or any intellectual property contained within it.
2. Ownership and Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including but not limited to its code, graphics, characters, logos, user interface, animations, sound, music, text, worldbuilding, game design, visual style, trademarks, and other content, are owned by the Developer or their respective rights holders.
The name GALMEGI, its logo, characters, setting, and distinctive visual expression are the property of GALMEGI Studio.
You may not use, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or create derivative works based on the Game or its content except as expressly permitted by this Agreement or by applicable law.
3. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Copy, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, share, or otherwise transfer the Game or any part of it without authorization.
Modify, extract, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to access the source code, data files, assets, or internal structure of the Game, except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
Use cheats, bots, automation tools, memory editors, save manipulation tools, cracks, bypass programs, or unauthorized third-party software.
Interfere with the normal operation of the Game, Steam features, online services, or any related systems.
Extract or reuse the Game’s assets, characters, sound, music, graphics, or other content in another game, video, product, NFT, AI training dataset, or commercial project without written permission.
Use the Game for unlawful, defamatory, hateful, fraudulent, malicious, or abusive purposes.
Misrepresent yourself as being affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially representing GALMEGI Studio, Valve, Steam, Godot Engine, or any other third party.
4. Steam Platform Terms
If the Game is provided through Steam, your access to and use of Steam-related services, including your Steam account, purchase, refund, download, update, cloud save, achievement, overlay, and community features, are also governed by Valve’s Steam Subscriber Agreement and related Steam policies.
In the event of a conflict between this Agreement and Steam’s terms regarding platform operation, payment, account status, refund processing, or distribution through Steam, Steam’s applicable terms may take precedence.
The Developer does not control or guarantee the continuous operation of Steam services, Steam accounts, Steam servers, Steam Cloud, Steam achievements, or other Steamworks features.
5. Updates and Changes
The Developer may update, patch, modify, balance, add, remove, or change parts of the Game for reasons including but not limited to bug fixes, performance improvements, compatibility updates, security, gameplay balance, or content adjustments.
After an update, certain features, save files, settings, or gameplay behavior may change or become incompatible.
The Developer does not guarantee that every feature, mechanic, balance state, or piece of content will remain available permanently.
6. Save Data and Local Data
The Game may store save files, settings, configuration files, logs, crash information, or other technical data necessary for gameplay on your device or through Steam Cloud, where applicable.
You are responsible for managing and backing up your own save data.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer is not responsible for loss, corruption, or deletion of save data caused by updates, device issues, Steam Cloud synchronization issues, user action, software conflicts, or other technical problems.
The Game does not intentionally collect personal information outside of platform-level functionality provided by Steam or other authorized distribution platforms, unless otherwise disclosed by the Developer.
7. Gameplay Videos, Streaming, and Fan Content
Unless otherwise prohibited by the Developer, you may create and share gameplay videos, screenshots, reviews, guides, streams, and non-commercial fan content based on the Game.
Monetized gameplay videos, reviews, guides, and livestreams on common video or streaming platforms are permitted.
However, you may not:
Extract and redistribute the Game’s assets as standalone files.
Present the Game’s music, graphics, characters, UI, or other content as a separate product.
Use the Game’s content in a way that suggests the Developer officially supports any political, religious, hateful, fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activity.
Create content that may be confused with official material from GALMEGI Studio.
Infringe the rights of any third party or violate applicable law.
The Developer may request the removal of fan content or media that violates this Agreement, infringes rights, or harms the reputation of the Game or the Developer.
8. Third-Party Software and Open Source Notices
The Game may include Godot Engine and other third-party software, libraries, middleware, fonts, sound assets, plugins, SDKs, or open-source components.
Such third-party components are governed by their respective license terms. Third-party license notices included in the Game’s installation folder, credits, documentation, store page, or separate license files are incorporated into this Agreement by reference where applicable.
This Game uses Godot Engine. Godot Engine is available under the MIT License.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available.”
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer makes no warranties that the Game will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every hardware or software environment, free from data loss, or suitable for any particular purpose.
The Developer does not guarantee any specific level of performance, balance, difficulty, content volume, graphical quality, update frequency, or future feature availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Game.
This includes, without limitation, loss of data, loss of save files, device damage, business interruption, loss of profits, loss of expected benefits, or emotional distress.
If liability is found despite the above limitation, the Developer’s total liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Game.
Nothing in this Agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability arising from intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or mandatory consumer protection rights.
11. Termination
If you violate this Agreement, the license granted to you may be terminated automatically or by notice from the Developer.
Upon termination, you must stop using the Game and delete any unauthorized copies, extracted assets, modified files, or unauthorized tools related to the Game.
Sections concerning ownership, prohibited conduct, third-party rights, warranty disclaimer, limitation of liability, governing law, and dispute resolution shall survive termination of this Agreement.
12. Refunds
If the Game is purchased through Steam, refunds are handled according to Steam’s refund policy and applicable law.
The Developer does not have final control over Steam refund approval, payment cancellation, account restrictions, regional payment limitations, or other platform-level decisions.
13. Minors
If you are a minor under the laws of your country or region, you may use the Game only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for complying with any applicable age ratings, store page notices, and regional content restrictions.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to this Agreement or the Game shall first be resolved through good-faith discussion between you and the Developer.
If the dispute cannot be resolved through discussion, the court having jurisdiction over the Developer’s place of business shall be the court of first instance.
However, nothing in this Agreement limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply in your country or region of residence.
15. Changes to this Agreement
The Developer may revise this Agreement from time to time due to changes in law, platform policy, Game features, business operations, or other reasonable needs.
If material changes are made, the Developer may notify users through the Steam store page, in-game notice, patch notes, official website, or other reasonable means.
Your continued use of the Game after the revised Agreement becomes effective means that you accept the revised Agreement.
16. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid and enforceable.
The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be interpreted or replaced in a manner that most closely reflects the original intent of the provision while remaining valid under applicable law.
17. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and GALMEGI Studio regarding your use of the Game.
Steam’s applicable terms, third-party license notices, and any separate notices provided by the Developer may also apply within their respective scope.
