User-Generated Content and Steam Workshop

1. User-Generated Content

The Game may allow users to create, upload, publish, share, or distribute user-generated content ("UGC"), including but not limited to mods, levels, artwork, scripts, assets, and other Workshop submissions.

You are solely responsible for any UGC you create, upload, or distribute. By submitting UGC, you represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to the content and that it complies with this Agreement and all applicable laws as well as Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement.

By downloading / subscribing to any UGC as a user you are aware of the risks associated after said action has taken place. Horizen Interactive is not responsible for consequences related to the downloading / subscribing of any UGC.

2. Prohibited Content

Users may not upload, publish, or distribute content that:

  • Is illegal or promotes illegal activity.
  • Is defamatory, harassing, abusive, threatening, hateful, discriminatory, or intended to incite violence.
  • Contains pornography or sexually explicit material.
  • Exploits or endangers minors.
  • Infringes upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of any person or entity.
  • Contains malware, malicious code, exploits, or content intended to disrupt the Game or other users' systems.
  • Promotes scams, fraud, or deceptive practices.
  • Violates the Steam Subscriber Agreement, Steam Online Conduct rules, or any applicable platform policies.
3. Moderation

Horizen Interactive reserves the right, but is under no obligation, to review, investigate, restrict, hide, disable, or remove any UGC at its sole discretion and without prior notice.

Horizen Interactive may remove content that:

  • Violates this Agreement.
  • Violates Valve's Steam Subscriber Agreement.
  • Violates applicable law.
  • Violates Steam's policies or guidelines.
  • Is reported by users and determined to be inappropriate.
  • Is otherwise considered harmful to the Game, its community, or its operation.

Horizen Interactive may also suspend or revoke access to Workshop features for users who repeatedly violate these rules.

4. Reporting Content

Users may report Workshop content they believe violates this Agreement or applicable platform rules. Reported content may be reviewed and, where appropriate, removed or restricted.

5. No Endorsement

UGC is created by users and does not represent the views or opinions of Horizen Interactive. Horizen Interactive does not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, quality, legality, or safety of any user-generated content.

6. License to Host and Distribute

By submitting UGC through the Game or Steam Workshop, you grant Horizen Interactive a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, distribute, display, and make your content available as necessary to operate, promote, and support the Game and its Workshop functionality.

You retain ownership of your original content.

7. Enforcement

Failure to comply with this section may result in removal of content, suspension of Workshop privileges, or other actions deemed appropriate by the Developer. Serious or repeated violations may also be reported to Valve where appropriate.
