End User License Agreement
Last updated: October 1, 2026
1. The Agreement
This EULA is a legal agreement between you and Muyao Wu, a sole proprietor doing business as Phroller ("Licensor") for the software game Phroller ("Software"). This Software is distributed via Steam, Google Play, and the Apple App Store. By installing or playing, you agree to these terms.
2. License Grant and Ownership
Subject to your continued compliance with this EULA, the Licensor grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access, install, and play the Software for your personal, non-commercial use. The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Software—including but not limited to all source code, art, music, UI, concepts, and trademarks—are owned entirely by the Licensor and are protected by United States and international copyright and intellectual property laws. You acquire no ownership rights in the Software.
3. Streaming and Content Creation Exception
Notwithstanding the "non-commercial" restriction above, the Licensor expressly grants you permission to capture, edit, and broadcast gameplay footage of the Software on digital platforms (such as Twitch, YouTube, or similar services). You are permitted to monetize this footage through platform-standard partner programs, advertisements, and viewer donations. This permission does not extend to putting the Software itself behind a paywall, selling standalone assets from the Software, or utilizing the Software's assets to endorse third-party commercial products without written consent.
4. Restrictions on Use
As a condition of your license, you agree that you will not, under any circumstances:
[]Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software.[]Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based upon the Software.[]Create, use, promote, or distribute any cheats, exploits, automation software (bots), hacks, or any unauthorized third-party tools designed to alter or interfere with the Software or its multiplayer environments.[]Bypass, remove, or circumvent any technical protection measures or digital rights management (DRM) used by the Software or the storefronts distributing it.
5. Age Requirements
The Software relies on peer-to-peer networking and unmoderated user-generated content. You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, such as 16 in the European Union) to play the Software or use its online features. By using the Software, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
6. Multiplayer and Peer-to-Peer Network Warning
The Software includes multiplayer features facilitated through peer-to-peer (P2P) or local connections. The Licensor does not host dedicated servers, maintain user accounts, or actively monitor or moderate game sessions. You are solely responsible for your conduct and interactions with other players. You agree not to use the Software to harass, abuse, or distribute illegal content to other users.
Peer-to-Peer Warning: Because multiplayer sessions are hosted locally by players, joining a session means your IP address may be visible to the host and other players. The Licensor disclaims all liability for any third-party conduct or security incidents related to the visibility of your network information.
7. User-Generated Content and Custom Scripts
The Software allows you to load, create, execute, or distribute custom maps, tokens, images, macros, or scripts ("Scripted UGC"). Any Scripted UGC you load is transmitted directly to other players in your session and is not stored or hosted on Licensor servers. You acknowledge and agree that:
[]You are solely responsible for any Scripted UGC you create, execute, or share, and warrant that you have the necessary rights to use it.[]You represent and warrant that your Scripted UGC does not contain any malicious code, viruses, worms, trojan horses, spyware, keyloggers, backdoors, denial-of-service mechanisms, obfuscated malicious payloads, or instructions designed to access, modify, or damage another user's device, files, or network.
  • The Licensor disclaims all liability for any content shared by users. The Licensor reserves the right, but has no obligation, to block, disable, restrict, or blacklist any Scripted UGC or user at any time if deemed harmful to the Software.
Script Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Licensor from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your Scripted UGC, your violation of this EULA, or your infringement of any third-party intellectual property, privacy rights, or system security.
8. Purchases and Unlocks
The Software may offer in-app purchases (such as a full version unlock), subscriptions, or be sold as a premium product. Any purchases are a license to access those specific features or versions of the Software. Purchases may be handled by third-party storefronts (such as Google Play, the Apple App Store, or Steam) or directly through the Licensor's official billing systems. They hold no real-world cash value. Refund requests must be directed to the entity that processed the purchase (the respective storefront or the Licensor) in accordance with their refund policies.
9. Disclaimer of Warranty & Limitation of Liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
Assumption of Risk for Custom Scripts: YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT EXECUTING CUSTOM SCRIPTS, MODS, OR CODE CREATED BY THIRD PARTIES CARRIES INHERENT SECURITY AND OPERATIONAL RISKS. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, RUNNING, OR INTERACTING WITH ANY SCRIPTED UGC FROM OTHER USERS IS DONE ENTIRELY AT YOUR OWN RISK. LICENSOR DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY SYSTEM CRASHES, DATA LOSS, HARDWARE DAMAGE, SECURITY BREACHES, OR UNAUTHORIZED NETWORK ACTIVITY RESULTING FROM YOUR EXECUTION OF THIRD-PARTY SCRIPTS.
LICENSOR IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.
10. DMCA and Copyright Policy
The Licensor respects intellectual property rights. If you believe that your copyrighted work has been infringed by UGC shared within the Software, please notify us at the contact email below. While the Licensor does not host UGC, we reserve the right to ban or restrict users who are repeat infringers of intellectual property.
11. Third-Party Storefronts
If you acquired the Software through a third-party storefront, including but not limited to Steam, Google Play, or the Apple App Store (collectively, "Storefronts"), you acknowledge and agree that:
[]This EULA is concluded strictly between you and the Licensor, and not with the Storefronts. The Licensor is solely responsible for the Software and its content.[]The Storefronts have no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the Software.[]The Storefronts are not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the Software, including product liability claims, intellectual property infringement, or consumer protection claims.[]The Storefronts and their respective subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA, and upon your acceptance of these terms, the Storefronts will have the right to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
12. Dispute Resolution and Class Action Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you and the Licensor agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this EULA or the Software shall be resolved on an individual basis. YOU AND THE LICENSOR AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.
13. Termination and Updates
Termination: This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this License will terminate automatically without notice from the Licensor if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this EULA. Upon termination of the license, you shall cease all use of the Software and destroy all copies, full or partial, of the Software.
Updates to this EULA: The Licensor may update this EULA from time to time to reflect changes in the Software or applicable laws. By continuing to use the Software after updates are posted to the storefront or the official website, you agree to the revised terms.
14. General Provisions
Governing Law: This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States of America, excluding its conflicts of law rules.
Severability: If any provision of this EULA is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
