By installing or using VantGrid, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the application.

VantGrid is a desktop application for real-time voice and text communication using P2P (peer-to-peer) technology. Communications travel directly between users — no audio, text, or file passes through the developer's servers. Initial signaling uses public, free Nostr relays.

Purchasing VantGrid grants a personal, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the application on your own devices. Reselling, redistributing, sublicensing, or using the application for commercial purposes without written authorization is prohibited.

VantGrid does not collect or store the content of your conversations on its own servers. Your identity (a cryptographic key pair) is stored only on your device, encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Direct messages are end-to-end encrypted (NIP-04). Initial signaling (who contacts whom) passes through public, independent Nostr relays, which may log connection metadata outside of our control. We have no access to the content of your conversations, calls, or files.

You are solely responsible for the content you share through VantGrid and for your use of the application. You must use it in accordance with the laws applicable in your country.

It is prohibited to use VantGrid to:

• distribute illegal content;
  
• harass, threaten, or harm other people;
  
• reverse-engineer the application for malicious purposes;
  
• infringe the rights of third parties.

VantGrid, its name, logo, and source code are the property of the developer unless otherwise stated. Third-party libraries are distributed under their own open-source licenses.

VantGrid is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, compatibility with all systems, or the absence of errors.

The developer shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use VantGrid, including loss of data or communication interruptions.

We may update these terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified within the application. Continued use of VantGrid after notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

VantGrid is intended for users aged 13 or older. If you are a minor, use of the application must have the consent and supervision of your parent or legal guardian. Parents and guardians are responsible for managing the minor's connections: who they communicate with, which groups they belong to, and what content they share. By design, VantGrid requires mutual acceptance to add contacts — no one can be added to another user's friend list without both parties confirming, which gives natural control over who can communicate with the minor.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute arising from the use of VantGrid shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Santiago, Chile.
