This agreement is between you and TADOO LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using
Widgey you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. LICENCE
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and
use Widgey on computers you own or control. Widgey is licensed, not sold. We
retain all rights not expressly granted here.

You may not resell, rent, or redistribute Widgey, or attempt to reverse engineer
it except where that right cannot be excluded by law.

2. HARDWARE MONITORING (OPTIONAL)
Widgey includes an optional hardware sensor service. If you choose to install it,
it runs as a Windows service and may install a third-party kernel driver (PawnIO)
to read sensor data from your hardware.

This component is entirely optional and is never installed without your explicit
action and an administrator prompt. Widgey works fully without it; only hardware
readings are unavailable.

Low-level hardware access carries inherent risk and behaviour varies across
hardware. You install this component at your own risk. If you would rather not,
simply skip it.

3. COMMUNITY WIDGETS YOU INSTALL
Widgey can run widgets created by other users and distributed through the Steam
Workshop. These are third-party content. We do not write, review, endorse, or
guarantee them.

Widgey runs every community widget in a restricted sandbox: no file access outside
the widget's own folder, no clipboard, camera or microphone access, and no network
access unless the widget declares the specific hosts it needs, which are shown to
you before installation.

The sandbox reduces risk but cannot eliminate it. You choose which widgets to
install, and you do so at your own risk. We may block widgets found to be harmful,
and Widgey checks a published list of blocked widgets when it starts.

4. WIDGETS YOU PUBLISH
Widgey lets you publish widgets you have made to the Steam Workshop. If you do,
this section applies to you as well.

You keep ownership of what you make. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide,
royalty-free licence to host, distribute, display and reproduce your widget for
the purpose of operating Widgey and its Workshop catalogue, including showing your
title, description and preview image inside the application. You may withdraw a
widget at any time by removing it from the Workshop, which ends that licence going
forward but does not affect copies already installed by other users.

By publishing, you confirm that:

• The widget is yours, or you have the rights to publish it, including any fonts, images, audio or code you have included.
  
• It does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
  
• It contains no malware, no code designed to damage, disable or gain unauthorised access to a computer, and no attempt to defeat or escape Widgey's sandbox.
  
• Its declared permissions and network hosts honestly describe what it actually does. Declaring fewer permissions than you use, or using a declared host as a proxy to reach others, is a breach of these terms.
  
• It does not collect personal information from the people who install it without telling them plainly.
  
• It is not unlawful, and does not harass, defame, or target any person.

We may remove, block or refuse to distribute any widget, at any time, if we
believe it breaches this section or presents a risk to users. We are not obliged
to review widgets before publication and we do not do so. Steam Workshop
submissions are also governed by Valve's own terms.

You are responsible for the widgets you publish, and for any claim arising from
them.

5. NO WARRANTY
Widgey is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind,
express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a
particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that Widgey will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible
with any particular hardware or software configuration. Data shown by widgets
(weather, sensors, financial figures, sports scores, news) comes from third-party
sources and may be inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. Do not rely on it for any
purpose where accuracy matters.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data,
profits, or hardware, arising from your use of Widgey.

Our total liability for any claim relating to Widgey will not exceed the amount
you paid for it.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of sections 5 and 6
may not apply to you.

7. PRIVACY
Widgey has no accounts and no analytics. Your layout, settings and hardware
readings stay on your computer. On startup Widgey downloads two small files from
us: a list of blocked widgets, and the current version number so it can tell you
when an update is available. Neither sends information about you or your machine.

8. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
Widgey includes third-party software under their own licences:

• NAudio - MIT License
  
• Microsoft Edge WebView2 - Microsoft Software License Terms
  
• Inter and JetBrains Mono - SIL Open Font License 1.1
  
• PawnIO - installed separately, at your option

Full licence text is included in the Licenses folder of the installation, and
listed in Widgey's About window.

9. TERMINATION
This licence ends if you stop using Widgey or breach these terms. Sections 4, 5,
6, 8 and 10 survive termination.

10. CHANGES
We may update these terms as Widgey develops. Continued use after an update means
you accept the revised terms.

11. GENERAL
If any part of this agreement is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force and
the unenforceable part applies to the fullest extent permitted.

Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it.

You may not assign this agreement. We may assign it in connection with a merger,
acquisition, or sale of assets.

This agreement, together with the third-party licences referred to in section 8,
is the entire agreement between you and us regarding Widgey. Your purchase and
your use of the Steam Workshop are also governed by Valve's Steam Subscriber
Agreement.

12. GOVERNING LAW
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States,
without regard to conflict of law principles. The courts of the State of Utah
have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from it.
