VaultBox Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of VaultBox software, applications, websites, APIs, downloadable software, AI models, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Silkwave LLC, a Virginia limited liability company ("Silkwave," "Company," "we," "our," or "us").
By downloading, installing, purchasing, accessing, or using VaultBox, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use VaultBox.
Important Notice
Always verify AI-generated outputs before relying on them.
VaultBox should not be used as a substitute for professional advice or safety-critical decisions.
AI systems are probabilistic and may produce inaccurate, offensive, inappropriate, unsafe, incomplete, misleading, or otherwise objectionable content.
1. Eligibility
To use VaultBox, you must:
- Have legal capacity to enter binding agreements
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Meet any age requirements applicable to the features, models, or content modes you access
The base VaultBox product provides restricted models by default.
Restricted model access may be available to users under 18 where legally permitted and with parental consent where required.

These default models may include content moderation, image safety checking, and related safety systems intended to reduce:
- Illegal outputs
- Explicit content
- Harmful instructions
- Fraud-related abuse

These restrictions may not be perfect.
AI safety systems may fail, produce false positives or false negatives, or behave inconsistently.
Users remain responsible for reviewing generated outputs and determining whether their use is appropriate and lawful.
4. Content Controls, Ratings, and Parental Controls
VaultBox may provide optional content filtering, content classification, parental controls, content ratings, and related safety tools through user-configurable settings.
Available controls may include:
- Content restriction settings
- Content rating systems
- Explicit content filtering

- Misclassify generated content
- Produce inconsistent or inaccurate ratings
- Be bypassed through user misuse, third-party systems, technical limitations, vulnerabilities, or unforeseen failures
No filtering, parental-control, or content-rating system is perfect.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising minors and determining whether VaultBox is appropriate for their household.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Silkwave does not guarantee that parental controls, ratings systems, or content restrictions will prevent access to objectionable material and disclaims liability arising from filtering failures or classification errors.
5. AI Output Disclaimer
AI-generated outputs may be:
- Incorrect
- Misleading
- Incomplete
- Biased
- Offensive
- Unsafe
- Inaccurate

You are solely responsible for:
- Prompts submitted
- Files uploaded or processed
- Models independently downloaded or installed
- Generated outputs
- Agent workflows configured
- Actions performed by automated systems at your direction
- Determining whether generated content is appropriate for your intended use
- Complying with applicable laws and third-party rights
You are responsible for determining whether your generation, possession, storage, modification, publication, transmission, distribution, commercialization, or other use of generated content complies with applicable law and these Terms.
You may not use VaultBox to create, possess, publish, distribute, transmit, commercialize, or otherwise use content where doing so would violate applicable law or these Terms.
Silkwave does not authorize, direct, endorse, or approve any use of VaultBox that violates applicable law or these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Silkwave is not responsible for consequences arising from user prompts, user-selected models, generated outputs, user-configured workflows, or actions taken by users or automated systems at their direction.
7. Third-Party Models and Components
VaultBox may support AI models, software, repositories, libraries, or other components provided by third parties, including services or repositories such as Hugging Face, Ollama, and other providers.
User-Provided Models
Users may independently download, install, import, or use third-party models.
For models or components obtained independently by the user, Silkwave does not guarantee:
- Licensing compliance
- Security
- Safety
- Legality
- Accuracy
- Performance
- Continued availability
- Compatibility
Users are responsible for reviewing and complying with applicable third-party licenses and terms for models or components they obtain independently.
Silkwave-Distributed Models
Models distributed or packaged directly by Silkwave may be subject to separate third-party licenses, notices, acceptable-use requirements, or other terms provided with those models.
Users must comply with applicable third-party restrictions.
The availability of a model through VaultBox does not guarantee that every possible use of that model or its outputs is lawful or permitted under applicable third-party rights.
8. Privacy, Data Collection, and Internet Connectivity
VaultBox is designed to prioritize user privacy by performing many AI functions locally on user devices.
VaultBox does not use routine telemetry, behavioral analytics, advertising trackers, or automated collection of user prompts, generated outputs, personal files, local workflows, or downloaded local models.
Silkwave LLC does not routinely monitor user activity occurring locally within VaultBox.
Information may be transmitted to Silkwave or third parties when explicitly initiated by the user or required to provide requested functionality, including:
- Account creation
- Payment processing
- Licensing or entitlement verification
- Model downloads
- Customer support requests
- User-initiated online functionality
- Legal compliance obligations
For features requiring internet access, including web browsing, retrieval, downloads, and third-party integrations, certain requests, limited metadata, or network traffic may leave the user's device. Such information may or may not be identifying depending on the service used and user configuration.
VaultBox may provide:
- Privacy-enhancing internet browsing for supported browsing features
- Optional privacy services that may route traffic through intermediary infrastructure
Silkwave does not guarantee complete anonymity, privacy, or security.
Destination websites, third-party providers, internet service providers, governments, malicious actors, or unforeseen technical limitations may reduce privacy protections.
Users remain responsible for understanding the privacy implications of internet-connected features.
Additional details regarding data handling practices are described in the VaultBox Privacy Policy.
9. Local Device Responsibility
VaultBox may operate locally on user devices.
Users are responsible for:
- Securing their devices
- Protecting credentials
- Maintaining appropriate access controls
- Backing up data
- Managing downloaded models safely
- Reviewing software and models they independently install
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Silkwave is not liable for local device failures, data loss, unauthorized access, or compromises caused by circumstances outside Silkwave's reasonable control.
10. Autonomous Agents and Automation
VaultBox may enable automated or semi-autonomous systems capable of:
- Browsing websites
- Modifying files
- Executing code
- Sending communications
- Interacting with external systems
- Performing tasks automatically
Automated systems may behave unexpectedly, misunderstand instructions, generate incorrect actions, or cause unintended consequences.
Users are responsible for configuring appropriate permissions, reviewing consequential actions where appropriate, and determining whether an automated workflow is suitable for its intended purpose.
Users assume responsibility for actions they authorize autonomous or automated systems to perform.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Silkwave is not liable for unintended automation outcomes resulting from user-authorized workflows.
11. Optional Unrestricted Model Add-Ons
VaultBox may offer optional paid access to AI models or modes with substantially reduced content filtering ("Unrestricted Models" or "Unrestricted Mode").
Unrestricted Models are not included with the base restricted product unless expressly stated otherwise.
Unrestricted Models may generate:
- Graphic violence
- Offensive or profane language
- Disturbing content
- Horror
- Mature themes
- Controversial viewpoints
- Non-explicit sexual themes where permitted
- Other potentially objectionable outputs
"Unrestricted" does not mean that all restrictions, safeguards, or legal limitations are removed.
Certain categories of content remain prohibited by mandatory safety protections.
Available capabilities and restrictions may vary depending on:
- Distribution platform
- Jurisdiction
- Model
- Product configuration
- Applicable law
- Third-party requirements
Versions of VaultBox distributed through platforms that prohibit live generation of particular categories of content may enforce additional non-removable restrictions required for distribution through that platform.
Access to Unrestricted Models may require:
- Additional payment
- Explicit consent
- Being at least 18 years old
- Age verification where legally required
- Additional acceptance of usage policies
Silkwave may modify, restrict, suspend, or revoke access to particular models, modes, or capabilities where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, platform compliance, security, or enforcement of these Terms.
Silkwave does not routinely monitor locally generated prompts or outputs. Enforcement may occur based on information lawfully available to Silkwave, including account activity, user reports, customer-support interactions, platform reports, legal process, or other information provided to Silkwave.
Unrestricted add-on purchases are subject to the applicable refund policy and any refund rights required by law or the applicable distribution platform.
12. Mandatory Safety Protections
VaultBox may enforce mandatory safety restrictions regardless of the model or content mode selected.
Mandatory safety protections may prohibit categories of content or activity including content involving sexual exploitation of minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, prohibited exploitation, or other content or conduct that Silkwave determines must be restricted for legal, safety, or platform-compliance purposes.
Additional mandatory restrictions may apply to particular distribution channels or jurisdictions.
Users may not circumvent, disable, bypass, tamper with, reverse engineer for the purpose of defeating, or otherwise interfere with mandatory safety protections.
Silkwave may modify mandatory safety protections when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law
- Comply with distribution-platform requirements
- Address security vulnerabilities
- Address newly identified forms of abuse
- Protect users or third parties
- Maintain availability of VaultBox through third-party distribution channels
Mandatory safety protections may operate independently from user-selectable content modes.

16. Service Availability and Discontinuation
Certain VaultBox features may rely on hosted infrastructure, routing services, authentication systems, licensing systems, model hosting, or third-party integrations.
Silkwave reserves the right to modify, discontinue, restrict, replace, or sunset hosted services, integrations, models, or online functionality.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly guaranteed in a separate written agreement, Silkwave has no obligation to maintain hosted services beyond one (1) year from a user's original purchase date.

18. Ownership
VaultBox software and Silkwave-created materials remain the property of Silkwave LLC or its applicable licensors.
As between you and Silkwave, Silkwave does not claim ownership of your prompts, personal files, or generated outputs solely because they are processed using VaultBox.
Any rights that may exist in AI-generated outputs remain subject to:
- Applicable law
- Third-party rights
- Model licenses
- Software licenses
- Other applicable contractual restrictions
Nothing in these Terms represents or guarantees that AI-generated content qualifies for copyright or other intellectual-property protection.

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations of liability. In such jurisdictions, these limitations apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
21. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Silkwave LLC, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against third-party claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or relating to:

This section does not require indemnification to the extent a claim results from conduct for which Silkwave cannot lawfully require indemnification.

You may not access, export, re-export, transfer, or use VaultBox in violation of applicable:
- U.S. export laws
- Sanctions regulations
- Trade restrictions
- Other applicable export-control requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that your use complies with applicable export and sanctions laws.

Certain VaultBox capabilities may differ between distribution channels in order to comply with applicable platform requirements.
Where a platform-specific restriction applies, users may not circumvent or defeat that restriction through VaultBox.
If these Terms conflict with mandatory consumer rights or mandatory requirements imposed by an applicable distribution platform, those mandatory requirements control to the extent required.
24. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Informal Dispute Resolution
Before initiating arbitration or filing a legal claim, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally.
A party must provide written notice describing:
- The nature of the dispute
- The requested resolution
- Relevant supporting information
Both parties agree to allow at least thirty (30) days from receipt of notice to attempt informal resolution before initiating formal proceedings, except where immediate relief is legally necessary.
Binding Arbitration
Except for claims eligible for small claims court, claims that cannot lawfully be subjected to arbitration, or claims seeking injunctive relief permitted under these Terms, disputes arising from these Terms or use of VaultBox shall be resolved through final and binding arbitration rather than court litigation.
Arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association or another mutually agreed arbitration provider in accordance with applicable rules.
Arbitration may occur:
- Remotely
- By phone
- Through written submissions
- In person where required or agreed
Each party shall bear its own legal fees unless otherwise required by law, applicable arbitration rules, or awarded by the arbitrator.
Discovery shall be limited to what is reasonably necessary under applicable arbitration rules.
One-Year Claim Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, any claim arising out of or related to VaultBox or these Terms must be filed within one (1) year after the event giving rise to the claim.
Where applicable law does not permit this limitation, the legally required limitations period applies.
Jury Trial Waiver
To the extent permitted by applicable law and to the extent any dispute proceeds in court rather than arbitration, both parties knowingly and voluntarily waive any right to a jury trial.
Class Action Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis.
You waive any right to participate in:
- Class actions
- Class arbitrations
- Representative actions
- Mass actions
Where applicable law prohibits such a waiver, this provision applies only to the extent legally enforceable.

Continued use of VaultBox after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
If you do not agree to revised Terms, you must discontinue use of the affected Service.
26. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent legally permissible or severed where necessary.
The remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
27. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any applicable Privacy Policy, additional product terms, model licenses, or other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Silkwave regarding the Service, except where a separate written agreement expressly applies.
28. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any consumer protection, statutory warranty, privacy right, or other legal right that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
Any disclaimer, limitation, waiver, arbitration requirement, or other restriction contained in these Terms applies only to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
