"EULA" Demo Terms of Service (Pre-Install Notice for the Digital Distribution Platform)

End-User License Agreement — Digital Demo Distribution Edition

Last Modified: April 24, 2026

These Terms of Service (the "Agreement") govern the conditions under which the demo version of the visual novel "EULA" (the "Demo"), distributed by MoEater (the "Company") free of charge through a digital game distribution platform, may be downloaded and launched.

This document neither replaces nor restricts the standard terms of service of the platform on which the Demo is registered; it constitutes a supplementary notice in addition thereto.

The Demo is an independent work from the main title "EULA — End-User License Agreement —" (the "Main Work"). The Demo is not designed as a condensed version, trial, or prologue of the Main Work, and carries a separate narrative. No relationship of precedence or succession exists between the two.

The moment in which you read this Agreement is, on its surface, part of the platform's installation procedure, but given the structural nature of the Demo, the act of reading this document is itself deemed already to be included within the experience of the Demo. This is not a fact declared by the Company after the fact.

----------

Article 1 (Free Provision)

(1) The Demo is provided without charge through a digital distribution platform. You are not paying any monetary consideration for the download or launch of the Demo.

(2) The fact that the Demo is provided free of charge does not mean that its narrative, temporal, or emotional cost is also free. The Company cannot offer a refund for the time you spend on the Demo, because time itself is not a refundable resource.

(3) There is no obligation to purchase the Main Work after playing the Demo. The Company expresses gratitude for the very act of downloading and launching the Demo. Whether you purchase the Main Work is treated as a matter separate from this article.

Article 2 (Relationship with the Main Work)

(1) The Demo is not a preview, abridgment, or sample of the Main Work. The Demo's narrative material, characters, and direction are intentionally designed to differ from those of the Main Work.

(2) It is unlikely that the experience of playing the Demo will allow you to predict the narrative of the Main Work. The Demo's design intent itself lies in maintaining distance from the Main Work.

(3) The Company offers no advance assertion regarding the narrative relationship between the Demo and the Main Work. Even where any motif is shared between the two works, or any echo is found, this does not mean that one determines the conclusion of the other. The events unfolding in the Demo are completed within the Demo.

(4) The Demo and the Main Work share the same game engine, the same developers, and the same authorial intent, but this sharing does not entail narrative continuity between the two works.

Article 3 (Notice on Demo Structure)

(1) The Demo consists of multiple segments. Transitions between segments and changes in visual mode occur as play progresses, and the timing of such transitions may not be specified in advance. Such transitions follow the Demo's narrative intent.

(2) Some segments included in the early portion of the Demo may not align with your general taste. Such segments cannot be skipped, and this is a designed specification rather than a technical limitation.

(3) Some visual resources used in the Demo are intentionally rendered in a crude form. That crudeness is the result of manual work performed by MoEater members and is not AI-generated. Reactions to that crudeness form part of the designed intent.

Article 4 (Multiple Endings)

(1) The Demo contains multiple endings.

(2) None of the endings in the Demo is designated as the "true ending" or as "canon." Each ending merely shows the consequence of a particular choice; none constitutes or determines the premise of the Main Work.

(3) Even where you have confirmed every ending of the Demo, the contents of the Main Work, or the scope of events you will come to experience in it, are not fixed in advance.

(4) Some elements exposed within particular endings of the Demo may reappear in some segments of the Main Work in a separate form. Such reappearance occurs conditionally along paths chosen on specific routes of the Main Work and is not exposed to all players.

Article 5 (Notice on AI-Generated Content)

(1) The Demo contains a mixture of AI-generated content and human-produced content. The proportion differs by segment and does not align with the "exactly half" benchmark of the Main Work.

(2) The visual crudeness of the Demo (particularly in the early portion) is the result of human intent, not of AI limitations.

(3) Live-action video and photographic segments of the Demo feature actual MoEater team members. They were filmed with their voluntary consent and participate as themselves rather than as actors. The Company does not speak on behalf of any opinions players or viewers may form about these individuals.

(4) All content of the Demo is produced in advance during development; no real-time AI generation occurs during play.

Article 6 (Sharing and Broadcast)

(1) Because the Demo is free, paid-gifting features such as "Gift" do not apply, but copying and sharing the store link is unrestricted.

(2) Live broadcast and streaming of the Demo are permitted. No separate authorization is required for broadcasting any segment or any ending.

(3) The Company places no restriction on publicly posting elements that constitute spoilers of the Demo, but warns that such posts may transform the experience of other prospective players.

Article 7 (Reviews and Feedback)

(1) Because the Demo is free content, user review systems may not apply on certain platforms, but feedback through the platform's community features remains possible. In environments where such community features are also unavailable, direct feedback by email to the Company (support@moeater.com) is possible. The Company expresses appreciation for feedback reaching it through any route.

(2) There is a possibility that feedback on the Demo will be reflected in the production direction of the Main Work. There is also a possibility that it will not. The Company offers no advance warranty as to whether feedback will be reflected and may, even where it is reflected, decline to disclose its source.

(3) Comments made on public platforms (social media, video-sharing sites, blogs, etc.) regarding the Demo are not collected directly by the Company, but may reach Company members via incidental routes.

Article 8 (Wishlist and Main Work Purchase)

(1) Adding the Main Work to your wishlist after playing the Demo is recommended. Even where, from your standpoint, no warranty exists that such addition will lead to a purchase of the Main Work, the Company expresses appreciation for the wishlist addition itself.

(2) Where, after playing the Demo, your intent to purchase the Main Work has decreased, that judgment is respected. The Demo can serve to compare your taste against the direction of the Main Work.

Article 9 (Modifications and Dispute Resolution)

(1) This Agreement may be modified, and modified versions will be announced via the store page of the platform on which the Demo is registered.

(2) Disputes concerning the Demo shall be resolved under the laws of the Republic of Korea as governing law. Internal conflicts arising from the Demo shall be resolved through dialogue, in which the counterpart of the dialogue may include yourself.

(3) Matters not resolved under this article shall be governed by the corresponding provisions of the standard terms of service of the platform on which the Demo is registered.

----------

Supplementary Provisions

This Agreement takes effect from the moment you "download" or "install" the Demo on the distribution platform.

Whether your expectations toward the Main Work rise or fall after playing the Demo, the cause of that emotion lies with you. The Company cannot adjust the direction of that emotion in advance, nor can it do so afterward.

Even if you have read this Agreement to this point, the Company will not provide any separate staging within the Demo in recognition of your diligence. The Company does, however, express gratitude for that diligence itself.
