By creating an account or using Ebon Crucible ("the Game"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Game.

To access ranked matchmaking and competitive features, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. You may only maintain one active account.

You agree not to:

• Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software
  
• Intentionally disconnect or leave matches to manipulate your ELO rating
  
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other players
  
• Impersonate other players or staff members
  
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Game or its systems
  
• Use offensive, vulgar, or inappropriate usernames

Ebon Crucible and all of its content, including but not limited to game mechanics, art, character designs, sounds, and code, are the intellectual property of the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to play the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your gameplay statistics, including match history, ELO rating, win/loss records, and class performance data, are stored on our servers to provide the competitive experience. This data may be displayed on public leaderboards. By participating in ranked play, you consent to your username, ELO rating, and match statistics being publicly visible.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to cheating, abuse, or any behavior that disrupts the experience of other players. Account termination may result in permanent loss of your gameplay data and statistics.

Ebon Crucible is currently in Early Access. The Game may be modified, updated, or discontinued at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Class abilities, game mechanics, ELO calculations, and other systems may change during development.

The Game is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding uptime, data preservation, or matchmaking fairness during the Early Access period.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Game.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Game client.
