Desktop Maid Haru – End User License Agreement (EULA)
This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between the user (“User”) and PUNG (“Developer”) regarding the use of the game “Desktop Maid Haru” (“Game”).
By installing, downloading, or using the Game, the User agrees to the terms of this Agreement.
1. Grant of License
The Developer grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Game for personal and non-commercial purposes.
The Game may be used on Windows operating systems.
Users may create, stream, and upload gameplay videos, including for commercial purposes (e.g., YouTube, Twitch), provided that such content does not harm the reputation of the Game or the Developer.
2. Prohibited Conduct
Users must not:
Reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, hack, or create cheats for the Game
Copy, redistribute, or resell the Game without permission
Exploit bugs or unintended behavior
Use in-game assets (graphics, audio, code, etc.) for commercial purposes
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of the Developer
3. Data and Storage
The Game does not use online servers or online features.
All game data (including settings and progress) is stored locally on the User’s device.
The Developer is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or deletion of local data. Users are responsible for managing and backing up their own data.
4. Online Features
The Game does not provide online or server-based features.
5. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Game is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind.
The Developer does not guarantee:
That the Game will be free of bugs or errors
That the Game will run without interruption
Compatibility with all hardware or software environments
The Developer is not responsible for issues caused by user devices, operating systems, or third-party software.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Game.
This includes (but is not limited to):
Data loss
System errors or crashes
Loss of profits or revenue
Any indirect or consequential damages
If liability is recognized, the maximum compensation shall not exceed the amount paid for the Game (or 0 if the Game was obtained for free).
7. System Impact
The Game runs as a desktop application and may use system resources such as CPU and memory.
The Developer is not responsible for:
Performance degradation
Conflicts with other software
Device overheating or instability
8. Age Rating
The Game is not officially rated. Users under applicable legal age should obtain guardian consent before use.
9. Paid Content
The Game currently does not include paid content such as DLC or in-game purchases.
Paid content may be added in the future, and separate terms may apply.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All content in the Game, including but not limited to graphics, audio, code, characters, and design, is the property of the Developer.
Unauthorized reproduction, modification, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Korea.
12. Changes to the Agreement
The Developer may update this Agreement at any time.
Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
