Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the online game DoDonPachi Resurrection Reignite (the "Software") and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by CAVE Interactive CO., LTD. ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, launching, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you access the Service through a platform such as Steam, the terms and conditions of that platform also apply.

• The Service is available only to users aged 15 or older. Minors must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian prior to use.
Article 1 Definitions

Article 2 Application and Amendment of Terms
1. In addition to these Terms, Supplementary Rules also apply to your use of the Service. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and any Supplementary Rules, the Supplementary Rules shall prevail.
2. We may amend these Terms at any time as necessary. Amendments take effect upon publication on our official website, the Steam store page, or any other method we deem appropriate. Continued use of the Service after any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. In certain countries or regions, additional or alternative conditions may apply due to local laws or regulations.
Article 3 Scope of License
1. Subject to compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license is restricted to use by you personally on a single device under a single ID.
2. The following acts are prohibited:
(1) Copying, modifying, adapting, publicly transmitting, redistributing, selling, or lending the Service or any part thereof
(2) Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or extracting source code from the Service
(3) Removing, disabling, or circumventing any security protection, copyright notice, or label
3. You acknowledge that you have no intellectual property rights or any other claims with respect to data accumulated during your use of the Service, and you hereby grant us (or any administrator designated by us) the right to reproduce, distribute, and otherwise use such data.
Article 4 User Registration and Costs
1. Use of the Service requires prior registration with our account system. User registration and deregistration shall follow the procedures separately established by us.
2. You are responsible for procuring, at your own expense, all hardware, internet connectivity, and other resources required to use the Service.
3. If you cause damage to a third party or to us in connection with your use of the Service, you shall indemnify and compensate for such damage at your own responsibility and expense.
Article 5 Fees and Payments
1. Basic use of the Service is free of charge; however, additional content and premium features may require separate payment. Pricing and payment terms shall be as separately determined by us.
2. Fees paid are non-refundable except as otherwise specified by us.
3. Virtual Items have no monetary value in the real world and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged for cash. Your right to use Virtual Items is limited to a revocable, non-transferable license for personal, non-commercial use.
Article 6 Online Features
1. The Service may include online features such as online leaderboards, score recording, multiplayer, and other online functionality.
2. We may add, modify, suspend, discontinue, or terminate any online features at any time as we deem necessary.
3. If misconduct or inappropriate use is detected, we may invalidate scores, remove entries from leaderboards, restrict access to online features, or take any other necessary action.
Article 7 Updates
We may release updates, patches, and specification changes to the Service for the purposes of improvement, bug fixes, security enhancements, or other reasons. You acknowledge that such updates may alter the content, features, balance, or delivery method of the Service.
Article 8 Account Management and Suspension
1. You must manage your ID and password with care and must not allow any third party to use them. You are responsible for all activity conducted under your ID and password, regardless of who performs such activity. If your device is lost or stolen, you must notify us promptly.
2. We may, without prior notice, issue a warning, delete data, suspend or terminate your account, take legal action, or take any other appropriate measure if you fall under any of the following:
(1) You have violated these Terms or any Supplementary Rules
(2) Non-payment of fees or fraudulent payment is identified
(3) Your account has not been accessed for more than one year
(4) We otherwise determine that you are not appropriate as a user
3. If we suffer any damage as a result of your violation, you shall be liable for the full amount of such damage.
4. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, Article 3.3, Article 8.3, Article 5, Article 12, Article 13, and Article 15 shall continue in effect.
Article 9 Personal Information and Access Logs
1. Except as required by law or as set forth in our Privacy Policy, we will not disclose your personal information to third parties.
2. We may collect and use information such as IP addresses, device information, usage history, and GPS data in an anonymized manner for product support and service improvement. You consent to this in advance by using the Service.
3. Your handle name, ranking data, posts, and other publicly shared content may be used by us for promotional and advertising purposes. You may not object to such use.
Article 10 Prohibited Conduct
1. You must not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service. If you have engaged in, or are reasonably suspected of engaging in, any prohibited act, you must immediately cease such conduct.
(1) [Cheating / Unauthorized Tools] Use of cheat tools, macros, bots, or external tools (including emulators); intentional exploitation of bugs or glitches; circumventing or interfering with anti-cheat systems; use of tampered data; reverse engineering or analysis of the Service
(2) [Infringement / Impersonation] Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights or trademarks; infringement of others' privacy or publicity rights; impersonating other users or our staff; unauthorized collection or disclosure of others' personal information
(3) [Harassment / Harmful Content] Defamation, harassment, or discriminatory statements; conduct related to fraud or criminal activity; transmission or display of obscene or child-exploitative content; soliciting romantic or sexual contact with others or minors; religious or political solicitation; electioneering; chain messages; spam or mass messaging
(4) [Commercial Use / Real-Money Trading (RMT)] Exchanging Service Data or Virtual Items for real-world money or goods (RMT); commercial use in internet cafes or similar venues; monetizing streams or videos; assigning, selling, or pledging your user rights to third parties
(5) [System Interference / Unauthorized Access] Transmitting viruses or other malicious programs; placing excessive load on the Service; unauthorized access to our or others' servers; publishing content obtained through unauthorized means
(6) [Other] Violating laws or public order; damaging our reputation or property; aiding, soliciting, or preparing for any of the above acts; any other conduct we determine to be inappropriate
2. You may not transfer, assign, sell, pledge, or otherwise dispose of any rights you hold as a user to any third party.
Article 11 Intellectual Property, Video Content, and UGC
1. All rights in the Software, including programs, visuals, music, characters, text, and designs, belong to us or their respective rightful owners. You have no intellectual property rights or other claims with respect to any such content.
2. You may post gameplay videos, screenshots, and streams within the scope of guidelines separately established by us. If we determine that any posted content infringes our rights, we may request that you remove or cease publication of such content.
3. When you publicly share videos, images, stream archives, or similar content related to the Service, we may quote or repost such content free of charge to the extent necessary for introducing, promoting, or operating the Service. You hereby grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such content for these purposes.
Article 12 Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
1. We provide the Service on an "as-is" basis and make no warranties regarding its completeness, accuracy, continuity, fitness for a particular purpose, or any other aspect. We are not liable for damages arising from unauthorized use of your ID or password by a third party, regardless of whether such use was due to your fault.
2. We are not liable for any damage to you arising from modification, interruption, suspension, or termination of the Service, specification changes due to updates, or loss or corruption of player data. Requests for deletion of player data cannot be accommodated.
3. Any disputes or damages arising between users, or between a user and a third party, shall be resolved by the user at their own responsibility and expense.
4. Notwithstanding the foregoing, where these Terms constitute a consumer contract under Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Consumer Contract Act of Japan, except in cases of our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, our liability shall be limited to direct and actual damages and shall not exceed the amount of fees received from you during the month in which the damage occurred.
Article 13 Notices
Notices from us to you will be delivered by email, in-Service posting, or any other method we designate. Notices are deemed delivered when dispatched to the address registered in your account or when posted to the Service.
Article 14 Severability
If any provision of these Terms, or any part thereof, is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Article 15 Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service, the parties shall endeavor to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, the Tokyo District Court or Tokyo Summary Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Supplementary Provisions
These Terms take effect upon the release of the Software. These Terms are subject to change at any time. The latest version will be posted on our official website or the Steam store page.
