This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and Marcus Nightingale, trading as Nightingale Games ("Licensor", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your use of the video game Asteroid Mining Empire ("Game").

By installing, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, you must not install or use the Game.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to download, install, and use the Game for your personal, non-commercial use.
The Game, including all content, code, assets, audio, visuals, and intellectual property, is owned by Marcus Nightingale trading as Nightingale Games. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You agree that you will not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell the Game or any part of it;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code;
• Modify or create derivative works of the Game, except where explicitly permitted;
• Use the Game for any commercial purpose without prior written consent;
• Circumvent or interfere with any security or anti-cheat mechanisms.

The Game may in the future support user-generated content, including but not limited to mods or Steam Workshop content.

By creating or uploading such content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute that content in connection with the Game.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict any user-generated content at our sole discretion.
We may update, modify, or discontinue the Game or any features at any time without notice. Continued use of the Game after updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.
The Game is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Game.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Game.

Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
This Agreement is effective until terminated. We may terminate or suspend your access to the Game if you breach this Agreement.

Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Game.
The Game is distributed via third-party platforms such as Steam. Your use of those platforms is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
