Last Updated: April 7, 2026

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This Privacy Policy informs you about how Dreamideasoft Co., Ltd. processes personal data in connection with the Steam version of WonderKing. By clicking "Accept", you acknowledge that you have taken note of this Privacy Policy. To the extent that consent is required for certain processing (e.g., cookies/marketing tracking on websites), this will be obtained separately.

0. BRIEF OVERVIEW
- We primarily process technical data and game data that are necessary to provide the Service (e.g., SteamID, server logs, gameplay data).
- We process security data (anti-cheat) to detect fraud, bots, and manipulation.
- Marketing/attribution data (e.g., click IDs such as GCLID) are used—if deployed—to measure advertising effectiveness; required consents are obtained separately.
- We do not process payment data (e.g., credit card details); payments are processed via Steam.

1. DATA CONTROLLER / CONTACT
The data controller within the meaning of data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) is:

2. SCOPE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy applies to the Steam version of WonderKing as well as related online functions (e.g., gateway/backend services, server services, support), provided they link or refer to this Privacy Policy.
Additional privacy notices may apply to separate campaigns (e.g., pre-registration events, external landing pages).

3. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS
Depending on your use, we process the following categories of personal data in particular:

3.1 Data from Steam (no separate web registration required)
We receive data from Valve/Steam that is necessary to provide the Service, in particular:
- SteamID (unique identifier)
- Public profile/display name (Persona Name)
- Additional Steam account/session information, as technically necessary (e.g., authentication/entitlements)

3.2 Automatically collected technical data (server logs / device / network)
When launching and using the Service, our systems typically process:
- IP address, timestamps, log data regarding access/errors
- Device/system data (e.g., OS version, hardware info like CPU/GPU, screen resolution), insofar as necessary for compatibility, stability, and error analysis
- Network/connection data (e.g., latency, packet/connection errors) to ensure service quality

3.3 Game data / Usage data
To provide the game, we process, among other things:
- In-game character/account data, progress, quest/tutorial status
- Item/inventory and economic logs (e.g., acquisition/consumption/transactions in-game)
- Matchmaking/co-op/PvP-related data, where relevant
- Chat/communication data within the Service (e.g., chat logs), insofar as necessary for operation, moderation, abuse and fraud prevention, and support

3.4 Security data (anti-cheat / fraud prevention)
To detect unauthorized third-party programs (e.g., cheats/bots) and to defend against attacks/abuse, we may process technical security data, e.g.:
- process-related technical information in connection with the running game operation
- signatures/indicators pointing to manipulation
Anti-cheat is focused on detecting unauthorized interference with game operations and not on reading the contents of personal files (e.g., documents/photos) or private communications outside of the Service.

3.5 Marketing and attribution data (ad measurement)
If you reach us via advertising measures or when we measure campaigns, technical identifiers may be processed—depending on your interaction (esp. via websites/landing pages)—e.g.:
- IP address, timestamps, referrer/UTM parameters
- Click IDs (e.g., Google Click ID / GCLID) and similar technical identifiers for attribution (matching an install/usage event to a campaign)
To the extent that consent is required for this under applicable law (e.g., cookies/tracking on websites), this will be obtained separately.

3.6 Support and communication data
When you contact us, we process the information provided by you (e.g., email content, error description, screenshots/logs, SteamID) to handle your request.

3.7 Data we typically DO NOT process
We normally do not require separate registration with your real name/address/password. Payment/credit card data is processed by Steam, not by us.

3.8 Obligation to provide data / Consequences of non-provision
Certain data (in particular the SteamID as well as technical and game-related data) are required to provide and secure the Service. If these data cannot be processed, the use of the Service may be wholly or partially impossible.

4. PURPOSES OF PROCESSING
We process personal data in particular for the following purposes:
- Provision and operation of the Service (login/authentication, saving progress, gameplay functions)
- Stability, error analysis, performance, and security of the servers (e.g., log evaluation, protection against attacks)
- Fraud prevention, anti-cheat, abuse, and security checks
- Customer service and support (ticket processing, troubleshooting, reconstruction of data in case of malfunctions)
- Marketing measurement/attribution and statistical analysis of campaigns (where deployed and legally permissible)
- Fulfillment of legal obligations and establishment/defense of legal claims

5. LEGAL BASES (ESP. EEA)
Where the GDPR applies, we typically base processing on:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): Operating the game, saving progress, providing online functions
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): Security, fraud prevention/anti-cheat, abuse detection, service improvement, technical stability
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): where required, e.g., certain cookies/marketing tracking on websites
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR): when we are legally obligated to retain/disclose data

6. SHARING WITH THIRD PARTIES (CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS)
We do not "sell" personal data for money. However, we may share data with the following recipients insofar as this is necessary for the stated purposes:
- Valve/Steam: Authentication, platform functions, billing/entitlements (payments are processed via Steam)
- Hosting/cloud and infrastructure providers: Operation, storage, and securing of servers
- Anti-cheat/security service providers: where we use third-party components
- Analytics/advertising partners (e.g., Google): to measure campaign performance (attribution/conversion measurement), where applicable in compliance with required consents
- Professional advisors (e.g., legal/tax advice) and auditors, where necessary
- Authorities/law enforcement/courts: insofar as we are legally obligated to do so or this is necessary to protect/defend our rights

7. COOKIES, TRACKING, AND CONSENT (WEBSITE/LANDING PAGES)
When you interact from a website/landing page, cookies/similar technologies may be used.
To the extent that consent is required for this, we obtain this separately (e.g., via a cookie banner). You can revoke or adjust your consent at any time via the respective settings. The use of the game is—as far as possible—not dependent on your acceptance of marketing cookies.

8. RETENTION PERIOD (STORAGE)
We store personal data only as long as it is necessary for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, or as long as legal retention obligations exist. Typically:
- Game data (account/progress/items): as long as necessary for the operation of the Service; upon deletion requests or end of Service, data is deleted or anonymized within the framework of legal requirements.
- Server and security logs (e.g., IP/access logs): generally for a limited period for security/error analysis (e.g., up to 3 months), unless a longer retention is required for legal reasons.
- Support/complaint data: as long as necessary for processing and for the defense/pursuit of claims (e.g., up to 3 years, depending on statutory limitation/documentation obligations).
- Marketing/attribution data: as short as possible and purpose-bound; details may vary depending on the campaign/tool.

9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Dreamideasoft is headquartered in the Republic of Korea. Depending on infrastructure and service providers, data may also be processed in other countries (including outside the EEA).
When we transfer personal data from the EEA to third countries, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms, e.g.:
- Adequacy decisions (e.g., for the Republic of Korea, if applicable)
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) and additional technical/organizational measures
- EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, provided a recipient is certified accordingly (if applicable)

10. YOUR RIGHTS (ESP. EEA)
Depending on your residence and applicable law, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Information about the processed data
- Rectification: Correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure: Deletion of your data, provided there are no opposing legal grounds (Note: this may lead to the loss of characters/items/progress)
- Restriction of processing
- Data portability (if applicable)
- Objection to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdrawal of consent (for processing based on consent)
- Right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority

Exercising your rights:
Please contact us at dreamideasoft4@gmail.com and provide your SteamID and relevant information for identity verification. We may request additional information to prevent abuse.

11. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Automated processes (e.g., detection patterns) may be used for fraud and cheat detection. Measures (e.g., bans) may be supported in an automated manner. You can contact support if you request a review.

12. SECURITY
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access (e.g., access controls, logging, security measures in infrastructure and transmission, where appropriate).

13. CHILDREN
The Service is not intended for children under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly process personal data of children under 16 years of age. If you, as a parent/guardian, suspect that data of a child under 16 has been transmitted to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate measures.

14. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy (e.g., in the event of legal or technical changes). The date of the last update is provided at the top. Material changes may additionally be communicated via Steam and/or within the Service.
