WONDERKING (EUROPE / STEAM VERSION)
Last Updated: April 7, 2026

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
By clicking "Accept", installing, launching, or using WonderKing ("Service"), you enter into a legally binding agreement with Dreamideasoft Co., Ltd. If you do not agree, click "Decline" and do not use the Service.

1. CONTRACTING PARTIES, SCOPE, HIERARCHY
1.1 The contracting party is Dreamideasoft Co., Ltd. ("Dreamideasoft", "we", "us").
1.2 These Terms of Service apply to the WonderKing game client as well as the gateway/backend services, updates, patches, events, and all associated online functions operated by Dreamideasoft (collectively the "Service").
1.3 Additional or separate terms of participation may apply to separate campaigns (e.g., pre-registration events, promotional campaigns, external landing pages). In the event of a conflict, the specific terms of participation for the respective campaign shall take precedence for that campaign.
1.4 The use of Steam is additionally subject to the terms and conditions of Valve/Steam. These Terms of Service supplement them.

2. ACCESS REQUIREMENTS / AGE / TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1 Access is provided via Steam using your Steam ID. Certain features may require a persistent internet connection.
2.2 Minimum Age: You may only use the Service if you are at least 16 years old (or have reached the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). Minors may only use the Service with the consent of their legal guardian.
2.3 We reserve the right to restrict access to certain regions or user groups for legal, technical, or security-related reasons.

3. LICENSE / RIGHTS OF USE
3.1 The Service is licensed, not sold. Dreamideasoft grants you a personal, limited, revocable at any time, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license for the private, non-commercial use of the Service.
3.2 You may not (a) copy, distribute, rent, lease, or make the Service publicly available (unless required by mandatory law), (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service (unless required by mandatory law), (c) circumvent technical protection measures, (d) use the Service for commercial purposes, or (e) use the Service in a manner that impairs the integrity, security, or availability of the Service.

4. ACCOUNT, SECURITY, AND RESPONSIBILITY
4.1 You are responsible for the security of your Steam account and your login credentials. Actions taken through your account are deemed to have been initiated by you.
4.2 Account sharing, account trading, or the transfer/sale of access is prohibited.
4.3 We may require additional checks (e.g., technical verification) or take measures for security reasons or to prevent abuse.

5. RULES OF CONDUCT / PROHIBITED ACTIONS
5.1 The following are strictly prohibited: Cheats, hacks, bots, macros, exploits, unauthorized third-party software, manipulation of client/traffic/server data, circumvention of bans, as well as any disruption of the Service (e.g., DDoS, spamming, scamming).
5.2 Real-Money-Trading (RMT) and the trading of accounts/items/currencies outside of the mechanisms provided by Dreamideasoft are prohibited unless explicitly permitted by us.
5.3 We may introduce or change rules, limits, and technical measures to maintain fair gameplay and to protect the economy/server integrity for objectively justified reasons, in particular for the prevention of abuse, fraud, and security risks.

6. ANTI-CHEAT / SECURITY / MONITORING
6.1 To ensure the integrity of the Service, we employ anti-cheat and security measures. These may examine technically necessary data during gameplay (e.g., game-related processes and communication with the Service) in order to detect unauthorized third-party programs (cheats/bots).
6.2 Violations may result in measures up to and including a permanent ban. Dreamideasoft decides on the nature and scope of the measures based on objectively justified reasons and within the framework of legal regulations.
6.3 Details on the nature and scope of the measures may additionally be described in the Anti-Cheat Declaration on the Steam store page and/or in accompanying documentation.

7. PROPERTY RIGHTS / GAME DATA / VIRTUAL GOODS
7.1 All rights to the Service and all contents (including software, code, graphics, text, music, trademarks) as well as to game data (including, but not limited to, accounts, characters, progress, statistics, in-game currencies, and virtual items) are held by Dreamideasoft and/or its licensors. You do not acquire any property rights.
7.2 Virtual goods and in-game currencies have no real-world monetary value, are not intended as a means of payment, and may not be used outside of the Service. Any "purchases" grant only a revocable license for use within the Service.
7.3 Dreamideasoft may establish, change, restrict, or revoke limits, terms of use, or access rights for virtual goods, particularly in cases of abuse, errors, fraud, security risks, or to maintain the integrity of the game.

8. IN-GAME PURCHASES / PRICING / BILLING
8.1 In-game purchases via Steam are processed through Valve/Steam and are subject to their payment and billing processes.
8.2 Dreamideasoft may change or discontinue prices, offers, bundles, drop rates, content, and availability for objectively justified reasons, provided this is legally permissible.

9. LIVE SERVICE: CHANGES, BALANCE, AVAILABILITY
9.1 Dreamideasoft may modify, update, expand, restrict, or remove the Service or content—including stats, mechanics, classes, drop rates, economy, events, quests, items, and features ("nerfs", reworks, disabling of individual functions)—for objectively justified reasons, provided this is necessary for the operation, security, compliance with legal obligations, or further development of the Service.
9.2 To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee the continued availability, functionality, or unaltered state of individual content. Maintenance, outages, rollbacks, or data corrections may be necessary.
9.3 Refunds or compensation due to balance/content changes are generally not provided, except where mandatory by law or explicitly available under Steam policies.

10. USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC) / COMMUNITY
10.1 If you create, upload, or provide content within the Service (e.g., texts, images, names, chat content, forum/community content), you grant Dreamideasoft a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to host, use, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, and display such content, insofar as this is necessary for the operation, provision, security, moderation, and promotion of the Service/community.
10.2 You warrant that you possess all necessary rights to your content and do not infringe upon the rights of third parties.
10.3 We may remove, block, or moderate UGC for objectively justified reasons, in particular in the event of legal violations, breaches of these Terms of Service, or for security/operational reasons.

11. THIRD PARTIES / EXTERNAL SERVICES
11.1 The Service may include third-party functions or content (e.g., Steam features, payment processing, anti-cheat components). You may be responsible for complying with third-party terms yourself.
11.2 Dreamideasoft assumes no responsibility for third-party content/services, to the extent permitted by law.

12. PRIVACY AND MARKETING
12.1 Information regarding the processing of personal data can be found in the separate Privacy Policy, which is provided to you via Steam, within the Service, and/or via our website.
12.2 If consent is required for marketing tracking or cookies, this will be obtained separately and is not a prerequisite for agreeing to these Terms of Service.

13. REFUNDS
13.1 Purchases distributed via Steam are primarily subject to Steam's refund policy.
13.2 Refunds for in-game purchases in games not developed by Valve are only possible via Steam if this option has been enabled by Valve/Dreamideasoft and is indicated accordingly at checkout.
13.3 Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

14. WARRANTY
14.1 Subject to mandatory statutory consumer rights, the Service is provided "AS IS". We make no promise that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at all times, to the extent permitted by law.

15. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
15.1 Dreamideasoft shall be liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, as well as for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.
15.2 In cases of slight negligence, Dreamideasoft shall only be liable for the breach of essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations). In such cases, liability is limited to the typically foreseeable damage.
15.3 Otherwise, liability is excluded—to the extent permitted by law. In particular, we are not liable for the loss of virtual goods, progress, data, or accounts, unless this falls under 15.1 or 15.2. The aforementioned limitations of liability apply only to the extent permitted by law.

16. INDEMNIFICATION
You shall indemnify Dreamideasoft against legitimate claims by third parties arising from your culpable use of the Service or a breach of these Terms of Service. This includes reasonable legal defense costs.

17. SUSPENSION / TERMINATION
17.1 Dreamideasoft may suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access for objectively justified reasons, in particular for breaches of these Terms of Service, fraud, chargeback abuse, security risks, use of unauthorized software, or other actions that harm the Service or other users.
17.2 In the event of a justified suspension/termination, your license expires; access to virtual goods, currencies, and progress may be revoked, to the extent permitted by law. Refunds will only be issued if mandatory by law or explicitly provided for under Steam policies.
17.3 Dreamideasoft may discontinue the Service in whole or in part for operational, technical, economic, or legal reasons, to the extent permitted by law. Continued availability is not guaranteed.

18. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS OF SERVICE
18.1 Dreamideasoft may amend these Terms of Service. We will announce material changes at least 30 days before they take effect via Steam (e.g., news/client notices) and/or via the Service.
18.2 If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service. Continued use after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance, to the extent permitted by law.

19. GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION
19.1 The laws of the Republic of Korea shall apply. Mandatory consumer protection regulations of the EU member state in which you habitually reside remain unaffected.
19.2 Mandatory jurisdictional rules apply to consumers habitually residing in the EU. Otherwise—to the extent permitted by law—the place of jurisdiction shall be the registered office of Dreamideasoft.

20. MISCELLANEOUS
20.1 Severability Clause: Should any provision be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
20.2 Assignment: Dreamideasoft may assign rights and obligations under these Terms of Service to affiliated companies or legal successors. Assignment by you is not permitted without our prior consent.
20.3 Controlling Language: To the extent that translations are provided, they are for convenience only. The German version shall prevail, to the extent permitted by law.
