END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

1. AGREEMENT TO TERMS
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User", "You") and Terranious Rivers ("Developer", "Licensor") governing your use of the game Terra: The Voracious ("Game").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing the Game through platforms including but not limited to Steam and Itch.io, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game.
2. LICENSE GRANT
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
Download and play the Game for personal, non-commercial use
Install the Game on supported platforms (Windows, macOS, Android, or browser where applicable)
Access future updates where provided
This license does not grant ownership of the Game.
3. AGE REQUIREMENT & CONTENT NOTICE
The Game may contain mature themes and content.
By using the Game, you confirm that:
You are 18 years of age or older, or
You meet the legal age requirement in your jurisdiction
The Developer is not responsible for unauthorized access by minors.
4. RESTRICTIONS
You agree NOT to:
Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
Redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Game
Upload or share modified versions without explicit permission
Use the Game for unlawful or harmful purposes
5. USER-GENERATED CONTENT & COMMUNITY
If the Game allows community interaction (e.g., Discord, social links, or future features), you agree:
Not to post harmful, illegal, or abusive content
To respect other players and the Developer
That the Developer may remove content or restrict access at their discretion
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content in the Game—including but not limited to:
Characters
Artwork
Code
Music
Writing
is owned by Terranious Rivers unless otherwise stated.
Some assets may be licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0, where applicable.
You may not use any assets outside the Game without proper permission or attribution.
7. UPDATES & EARLY ACCESS DISCLAIMER
The Game is currently:
In development / Early Access
Subject to frequent updates, changes, or removal of content
The Developer:
Does not guarantee stability or completeness
May modify gameplay, mechanics, or content at any time
8. NO WARRANTY
The Game is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, including:
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Error-free or uninterrupted operation
Use the Game at your own risk.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for:
Any damages arising from use or inability to use the Game
Loss of data, progress, or system issues
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
10. TERMINATION
This Agreement is effective until terminated.
It will terminate automatically if you:
Violate any terms of this Agreement
Upon termination, you must:
Delete all copies of the Game in your possession
11. PLATFORM TERMS
When accessed via platforms such as Steam or Itch.io, you also agree to:
Their respective terms of service
Their distribution and refund policies
This Agreement supplements—not replaces—those terms.
12. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws applicable in the Developer’s jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
The Developer may update this EULA at any time.
Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
