END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and DefinitelyNotScaryGames ("Developer") for the use of the software product associated with this Agreement ("Game").
By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Game, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not install or use the Game.
1. License Grant
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game;
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or sell the Game or any part of it;
- Use the Game for any unlawful purpose.
3. Ownership
The Game is licensed, not sold. The Developer retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including all intellectual property rights.
4. No Warranty
The Game is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
5. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the Developer be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Game, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or other incidental or consequential damages.
6. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. The Developer may terminate this Agreement at any time if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Game.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Developer’s country of residence, without regard to conflict of law principles.
8. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding the Game and supersedes any prior agreements.
