Warena End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Part Time Monkey Oy (Business ID 2817683-3), Boxintie 392, 04130 Sipoo, Finland ("we", "us"). It applies to the game Warena, including all updates and downloadable content ("Game").
1. License
When you buy Warena, you get a personal license to install and play it for as long as you like, on your own devices, for private use. Like nearly all games, Warena is licensed rather than sold: the game itself, its code, art, and characters remain the property of Part Time Monkey Oy, but your right to play is yours and is not something we revoke arbitrarily. The license is personal and non-transferable, and commercial use requires our permission. This Agreement works alongside the Steam Subscriber Agreement.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
(a) reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Game, except to the extent permitted by mandatory law;
(b) use cheats, bots, automation software, exploits, or unauthorized third-party tools that affect gameplay or online play;
(c) interfere with the Game's servers or other players' use of the Game;
(d) sell, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Game or access to it.
3. Online features and fair play
The Game includes online features such as matchmaking, multiplayer matches, and leaderboards. These features are provided as available.
We may suspend or permanently restrict your access to online features if you violate Section 2, manipulate leaderboards or match results, or engage in harassment or other abusive conduct toward other players. Restriction of online features does not affect your access to the Game's offline content.
4. Data protection
When you use the Game's online features, our servers process your Steam ID, Steam display name, match results, and gameplay statistics to provide matchmaking, leaderboards, and fair play enforcement. Leaderboard entries (display name, rank, score) are visible to other players.
We do not store IP addresses. We do not use third-party advertising or third-party analytics services. Data is stored on Amazon Web Services servers in the EU (Stockholm, Sweden) and retained for as long as the Game's online services operate. When online services are permanently discontinued, all associated personal data is deleted.
You may request access to or deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@parttimemonkey.com. We respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority; in Finland this is the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi). Full details are in the Warena Privacy Policy.
Steam (Valve Corporation) processes data independently as the platform operator under its own privacy policy.
5. Updates and changes
We may release updates, patches, and modifications to the Game. We may also modify or remove online features. If the Game's online services are permanently discontinued, we will provide reasonable advance notice through the Game's Steam page.
6. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you materially breach it. Sections 4, 7, and 8 survive termination. Termination of this Agreement does not limit any rights you have under the Steam Subscriber Agreement or mandatory consumer law.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Game is provided as is. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties beyond those required by mandatory law, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in this Agreement excludes or limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or limits your mandatory rights as a consumer, including the EU legal guarantee of conformity for digital content.
8. Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Finland. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
