WASTE RUNNER – END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal contract between you (“User” or “You”) Paulo Ramos (“Developer”, “We”, or “Us”) governing your use of the Waste Runner game, including all related software, executable code, updates, patches, assets, visual content, audio, and associated documentation (collectively, the “Game”).
By installing, downloading, accessing, or playing the Game, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game.
1. License Grant
The Developer grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play the Game for your own private, non-commercial use.
No ownership rights are transferred to you.
2. Restrictions
You may not, and may not permit others to:
Copy, distribute, sell, rent, or lease the Game
Modify, translate, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Game
Circumvent or remove security measures or DRM
Use the Game commercially without written permission
Upload or redistribute the Game outside of Steam or the Developer’s authorized platforms
Use the Game, characters, art, or content for NFTs, AI training, or derivative works without permission
3. Ownership
All rights, titles, and interest in the Game—including but not limited to code, art, design, audio, characters, mechanics, and trademarks—are owned exclusively by the Developer or its licensors.
This Agreement does not transfer ownership to you.
4. User-Generated Content (if applicable)
If the Game allows user-created content (“UGC”):
You retain rights to UGC you create
By submitting UGC, you grant the Developer a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, display, reproduce, and distribute it within the Game and related services
The Developer may remove or restrict UGC at its discretion
5. Updates and Online Features
The Developer may release patches, updates, or new content.
These may:
Modify gameplay, systems, or mechanics
Add or remove features
Disable builds considered outdated or unsupported
You agree that updates may install automatically.
6. Early Access / Playtest Disclaimer
(Only include this line while in Playtest)
The Game is in development and may contain bugs, incomplete features, or performance issues.
Your feedback is voluntary, and the Developer has no obligation to implement suggestions.
7. Privacy
Waste Runner may collect:
Technical data (hardware info, crash logs, performance metrics)
Gameplay analytics
We do not collect personally identifiable information unless you provide it (e.g., forums, bug reports).
Data may be shared with trusted partners, such as Valve, strictly for game improvement purposes.
8. Termination
This Agreement remains in effect until terminated.
The Developer may revoke your license if you:
Breach this Agreement
Engage in cheating, abuse, or unauthorized redistribution
Upon termination, you must uninstall the Game.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
THE GAME IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT GUARANTEE:
Error-free or uninterrupted gameplay
Compatibility with all hardware or systems
Preservation of saved data
You use the Game at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Developer will not be liable for:
Loss of data
Equipment damage
Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Any issues resulting from third-party services (including Steam)
Some regions do not allow certain limitations, so these may not apply to you.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of:
Spain / European Union, without reference to conflict-of-law provisions
(Replace with your operating country if needed)
Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in the Developer’s home jurisdiction.
12. Changes to this Agreement
The Developer may update this EULA at any time.
Continued use of the Game after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
