This EULA applies to the RP2D software and related services (the "Software"). By installing, purchasing, or using the Software on Steam, you agree to these terms.
1. Acceptance and updates
- By installing, purchasing, or using the Software, you accept these terms.
- Terms may change; continued use means acceptance.
- If you do not accept, do not use the Software.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old or have parental consent where required by law.
- Use the Software only where local laws allow it.
3. Accounts and access
- Access may use Steam authentication.
- You are responsible for your account, device, and credentials.
- Do not share access or allow unauthorized use.
4. License grant
- Personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license.
- The Software is licensed, not sold.
5. Restrictions and acceptable use
- No redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or public sharing.
- Do not bypass limits, security, or access controls.
- No reverse engineering.
- No illegal, abusive, or harmful use.
6. User content and uploads
- You are responsible for all content you create or share.
- Content includes scenes, tokens, character sheets, inventory, maps, notes, skills, dice rules, weather rules, fog/shadow data, chat messages, and media.
- You must own or have rights to uploaded images and files.
- Max file size per upload: 5 MB.
- You grant a non-exclusive license to host, transmit, and display your content to provide the service.
7. Moderation and takedown
- We may remove or restrict content or access at any time.
- Report infringements or abuse through our support channel.
8. Multiplayer rooms and roles
- Multiplayer rooms and sync are best-effort, with no uptime guarantee.
- The GM manages rooms and roles; we are not responsible for disputes or user actions.
- Room content can be visible to other participants.
9. Chat and community
- Chat and logs are user-generated; do not share sensitive information.
- We do not guarantee delivery or retention of chat logs.
10. Data collection and privacy
- We may process identifiers (Steam ID, display name), technical data (IP, device info), logs, and content to provide and secure the service.
- We do not provide a confidentiality guarantee for user content.
11. Data protection rights
- You may request access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, or objection.
- You may withdraw consent where applicable and lodge a complaint with your local authority.
12. Storage, retention, backups
- Data may be stored locally, remotely, and in temporary caches.
- No guarantee of accessibility, integrity, or retention.
- Data can be deleted for technical, legal, or policy reasons.
- You are responsible for your own backups.
13. Inactivity cleanup (storage & Workshop)
- Inactive storage and Workshop items may be deleted after 12 months of inactivity.
- Storage is considered active when the media list is opened or when uploads/deletions occur.
- A Workshop item is considered active when viewed/downloaded, updated, or voted on.
14. Third-party services
- The Software relies on third parties: Steam (authentication), Supabase (storage), OVH (hosting).
- Their terms and availability apply; we are not responsible for their outages or changes.
15. Plans, payments, refunds
- Plans may limit tokens, connections, storage, or features.
- Limits and pricing may change at any time.
- Payments are handled by third-party stores or processors; their terms apply.
16. Randomness and simulation
- Dice rolls and physics effects are approximations and may vary by device.
- Results are for entertainment only.
17. Support and maintenance
- Support and updates are provided at our discretion.
- We do not guarantee fixes or compatibility with future changes.
18. Warranty disclaimer
- The Software is provided as-is without warranties of any kind.
19. Indemnification
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Publisher against claims, damages, and costs arising from your use, content, or violations.
20. Limitation of liability
- We are not liable for data loss, downtime, incompatibility, or damages.
- Use the Software at your own risk.
21. Termination
- Access may be suspended or terminated for violations, security, or legal reasons.
22. Governing law and consumer rights
- French law applies.
- Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights in your country.
