END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR STAGED

IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT") CAREFULLY
BEFORE INSTALLING OR USING STAGED ("SOFTWARE").
BY INSTALLING OR USING THE SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT.
IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT INSTALL OR USE THE SOFTWARE.
1. LICENSE GRANT
----------------
Subject to the terms of this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on devices
that you own or control for streaming and content creation purposes, including
both personal and commercial use (such as professional streaming, monetized
content creation, and use in commercial production environments).
2. INDIRECT DISPLAY DRIVER DISCLOSURE
-------------------------------------
This Software includes and installs a third-party Indirect Display Driver
(IDD) component — the open-source "Virtual Display Driver" by the
VirtualDrivers project (MIT License, see THIRD-PARTY-LICENSES.txt) — that:
2.1 Uses Microsoft's IddCx framework running in user-mode (UMDF)
2.2 Creates virtual display outputs that function alongside your physical
monitors
2.3 Is digitally signed by SignPath Foundation; installing the driver imports
the publisher's certificate into the Windows "Trusted Publishers"
certificate store so Windows will load it
2.4 Requires a one-time Administrator permission (UAC prompt) to install;
day-to-day use of the Software does not require elevation
2.5 Stores its configuration under %ProgramData%\Staged\vdd and a registry
value at HKLM\SOFTWARE\MikeTheTech\VirtualDisplayDriver
2.6 Is removed by the Software's uninstaller together with its configuration
and registry entries; it can also be removed manually at any time via
Windows Device Manager or "pnputil"
ANTI-CHEAT NOTICE: The Software is strictly display-side. It never injects
code into, hooks, reads, or modifies game processes. However, some multiplayer
anti-cheat systems may detect the presence of a virtual display and refuse to
launch, restrict, or flag a game session. The behavior of third-party games
and anti-cheat vendors is outside our control. Before using the Software with
competitive multiplayer titles, check the per-game guidance in the app; use
with such titles is at your own risk.
BY INSTALLING THIS SOFTWARE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND CONSENT TO THE INSTALLATION
OF THIS INDIRECT DISPLAY DRIVER COMPONENT.
3. RESTRICTIONS
---------------
You may not:
(a) Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
(b) Rent, lease, lend, sell, or sublicense the Software
(c) Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
(d) Remove any proprietary notices from the Software
4. THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
-------------------------
The Software includes open-source components licensed under the MIT License.

5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
---------------------------
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
THE ENTIRE RISK AS TO THE QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE OF THE SOFTWARE IS WITH YOU.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM,
DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR
OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF, OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE
USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO: SYSTEM INSTABILITY, DATA LOSS, HARDWARE
DAMAGE, OR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
7. TERMINATION

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if
you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must
destroy all copies of the Software.
8. GOVERNING LAW
----------------
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable
laws without regard to conflict of law principles.
9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
-------------------
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us regarding
the Software and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings.
