Language:
1. Data Controller and EU Storage In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we inform you that all user data and cloud-saved configurations are stored exclusively on secure servers located within the European Union. This ensures the highest standards of data sovereignty and privacy.

2. Information We Collect We follow a strict "Data Minimization" principle:

Steam ID: We collect your unique Steam ID via the Steamworks SDK to verify your license and link your configs to your account.

Config Files: We store the specific game configuration files (.ini, .cfg, .xml, etc.) that you explicitly choose to synchronize.

No Tracking: We do not track personal behavior, IP addresses for marketing, or sell your data to third parties.

3. Your Rights (GDPR) Under European law, you have the following rights:

Right to Erasure: You can delete your data at any time through the app. Please note that this process is permanent and cannot be undone.

Right to Information: You may request a copy of the data we have stored related to your Steam ID.

4. Visual Content & Third-Party APIs To enhance the user experience, ConfigSave displays game covers and banners. These assets are not stored on our servers nor are they part of the software package. They are dynamically fetched via official Third-Party APIs (e.g., Steam API). All copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property rights for these images belong to their respective owners (the game developers and publishers).

5. Data Security Your data is encrypted during transit (SSL/TLS) and at rest on our EU-based servers. We implement industry-standard measures to protect against unauthorized access.

6. Contractual Relationship These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the access and use of the ConfigSave software and its associated cloud services. By purchasing ConfigSave on the Steam Store and using the application, you enter into a binding legal agreement.

7. Prohibited Conduct & Anti-Abuse (Server Security) To maintain the integrity and performance of our infrastructure, users are strictly prohibited from:

Automated Abuse (Spamming): Sending excessive, automated requests to our servers or attempting to flood the cloud infrastructure (DDoS or Scripting).

Unauthorized Access: Attempting to reverse-engineer the cloud API or bypassing security measures.

Misuse of Storage: Uploading non-configuration files or any malicious code.

Sanctions: We reserve the right to permanently ban accounts and revoke access to cloud services without a refund if abuse is detected.

8. Data Finality & Deletion

Permanent Removal: When you choose to delete a configuration file or your account, the data is purged immediately from our active databases.

No Recovery: This action is final and irreversible. ConfigSave does not maintain "shadow copies" or backups of deleted data. We are technically unable to restore data once it has been deleted by the user.

9. Software Compatibility

Steam Integration: ConfigSave is specifically designed to work with games installed via the official Steam client. We do not guarantee compatibility with games from other platforms.

Supported Titles: The software supports a specific list of games visible on the Store Page. Manual configuration for unsupported games is currently not synchronized via the cloud service.

10. Limitation of Liability ConfigSave is provided "as is." While we use professional-grade European server infrastructure, we are not liable for:

Loss of game data due to synchronization conflicts, internet connection failures, or user error.

Third-party game bans (ConfigSave only interacts with local files and does not modify game memory/executables).
