END USER LICENCE AGREEMENT (EULA) – VOID81
Last updated: 27/12/2025This End User Licence Agreement (“EULA”) governs your use of the video game VOID81 (“Game”) . By installing, launching, or using the Game on Steam, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA.
If you do not agree to this EULA, do not install or use the Game.

2) Definitions
In this EULA:- ‘Game’ means VOID81, including updates, patches, hotfixes, fixes, additional content (if any) and related files.
- ‘User’, ‘you’ or ‘your’ means the person using the Game.
- ‘Steam’ means the digital distribution platform operated by Valve.
- ‘Content’ means any element of the Game (code, graphics, audio, text, levels, UI, animations, effects, etc.).
- ‘Early Access’ means a non-final version of the Game, subject to change.

3) Licence Granted
3.1 Upon legitimate purchase on Steam and in accordance with this EULA, Veaby Corporation grants you a **personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable** licence to:- install and use the Game on permitted devices and in accordance with Steam's rules;
- use the Game **only for private, non-commercial purposes**, unless otherwise authorised in writing by the Licensor.
3.2 No sale: you are obtaining a **licence to use**, not ownership of, the Game or Content.
3.3 Any ‘shared’ usage rights (e.g. Family Sharing), if available, remain governed by Steam's policies.

4) Restrictions on use
Except as permitted by mandatory law, you may not:a) copy, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense or make the Game available to third parties (except for lawful Steam features, if applicable);
b) circumvent, disable or bypass security measures, technical protections or integrity checks (if any);
c) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the Game, except to the extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
d) create, use or distribute cheats, bots, exploits or tools to alter the behaviour of the Game or gain unfair advantages;
e) use the Game in a manner that violates laws, third-party rights or Steam rules;
f) use the Game for commercial purposes (e.g. paid stations, services, rentals) without the Licensor's written authorisation;
g) remove or alter copyright notices, trademarks, logos or other proprietary notices in the Game.

5) Steam and platform terms
5.1 Use of the Game via Steam is also subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and Valve's policies (‘Steam Terms’). 5.2 Payments, billing, refunds and chargebacks are governed by the Steam Terms and Steam policies.
5.3 In the event of a conflict between this EULA and the Steam Terms on matters that Steam governs in a binding manner (e.g. refunds), the Steam Terms shall prevail to the extent necessary.

6) Early Access, Updates and Changes
6.1 VOID81 is initially released in Early Access. This means that:- the Game may contain bugs, errors, crashes and balance issues;
- features and content may be incomplete and change over time;
- some content may be modified or removed.
6.2 Indicative release date: the current goal is a full release indicatively in December 2027, but the date may change.
6.3 The Licensor may provide updates, patches or modifications (including automatically via Steam) to improve or maintain the Game, fix bugs, or for security/compatibility reasons.

7) User-generated content, mods and streaming
7.1 Mods/UGC: if the Game supports or will support mods or user-generated content (UGC), you may only create/use them if:- they do not violate any laws, third-party rights or this EULA;
- they do not include malware or illegal content;
- they do not compromise the security, integrity or proper functioning of the Game.
7.2 The Licensor may remove, disable or restrict mods/UGC (including through updates) if necessary for technical, legal or security reasons.
7.3 Streaming and video content: unless otherwise specified in writing by the Licensor, gameplay (streaming/video) and standard platform monetisation (e.g. YouTube/Twitch) are permitted, provided that:
- you do not claim any rights to the Game or Content;
- you do not publish game files, builds, extracted assets or material that facilitates piracy/cheating;
- you comply with this EULA, the Steam Terms and applicable laws.
The Licensor may revoke this permission in the event of abuse or violations.

8) Intellectual property and ownership
8.1 The Game and all Content are owned by Veaby Corporation and/or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. 8.2 This EULA does not transfer any intellectual property rights to the User.
8.3 The trademarks, names and logos related to VOID81 belong to their respective owners.

9) Third-party software, content and services
9.1 The Game may include or depend on third-party components (e.g. game engine, middleware, libraries). Such components may be subject to additional licences. 9.2 To the extent required by the relevant licences, such additional terms shall apply and prevail with respect to the third-party components.

10) Health and safety warnings
10.1 Epilepsy and photosensitivity: certain visual effects (flashing lights, patterns) may cause discomfort or seizures in a small percentage of people. If you experience dizziness, nausea, convulsions, disorientation or other symptoms, stop immediately and consult a doctor. 10.2 Take regular breaks and play in a safe environment.
10.3 VOID81 is a horror game: it may contain elements of tension, scares or disturbing content.

11) Disclaimers
11.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided ‘AS IS’ and ‘AS AVAILABLE’. 11.2 The Licensor does not warrant that the Game is bug-free or that it will run without interruption on all systems or configurations.
11.3 No information or advice (whether oral or written) shall create any warranty not expressly stated herein, except as may be required by applicable law.

12) Limitation of Liability
12.1 Nothing in this EULA shall limit or exclude liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law (e.g. wilful misconduct or fraud, where applicable). 12.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Licensor shall not be liable for:
- indirect, consequential or special losses;
- loss of data, profiles, saves, progress or content;
- loss of profits or business opportunities;
- damage resulting from misuse, unauthorised mods, cheats or third-party software/services.
12.3 Where the limitation is permitted, the Licensor's total liability to the User for compensable damages shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the User for the Game on Steam in the **12 months** preceding the event giving rise to the claim, **or** the minimum amount required by applicable mandatory rules.

13) Indemnification (where permitted)
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Licensor from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses arising from: (i) your breach of this EULA; (ii) your unlawful use of the Game; (iii) mods/UGC created or distributed by you; (iv) your infringement of third-party rights.---
14) Termination and Suspension of Licence
14.1 This EULA remains in effect for as long as you use the Game. 14.2 The Licensor may suspend or revoke the licence (to the extent permitted by law) if you breach this EULA or the Steam Terms applicable to the Game.
14.3 Upon termination, you must cease using the Game. Access, availability and uninstallation are also managed through Steam and its features.

15) General provisions
16.1 Severability: If any clause is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining clauses shall remain valid. 16.2 Amendments: The Licensor may update this EULA (e.g. for legal or technical reasons). Your continued use of the Game after the update may constitute acceptance, to the extent permitted by law and Steam policy.
16.3 Entire Agreement: This EULA constitutes the agreement between you and the Licensor regarding your use of the Game, subject to the applicable Steam Terms.
16.4 No waiver: Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver.
