■ Preamble
This legally binding agreement governs the rights and obligations between the end user (“User”) and the Company regarding the software “The Adventures of Popo” (“Product”) and any accompanying documents (“Documentation”).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Product, the User is deemed to have agreed to this Agreement. If the User does not agree, they must immediately stop using the Product and delete all copies.
Refunds follow Steam's refund policy and applicable laws.
■ 1. Grant of License
The Company grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Product for personal and non-commercial purposes only.
This license is valid only for the Steam account through which the Product was purchased.
■ 2. Age Rating
This game is rated 12+ and may contain mild violence or fantasy themes.
Users under the age of 12 may not use the Product. Parental guidance is recommended.
■ 3. Prohibited Activities
The User shall not:
Copy, distribute, sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Product
Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the Product (unless required by law)
Use cheats, hacks, automation tools, or any unfair methods
Extract or redistribute game assets (graphics, sound, dialogue, data, etc.)
Use the Product for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Company
■ 4. Streaming & User-Generated Content (UGC)
Users may freely post gameplay videos, screenshots, and livestreams on personal channels, including monetization.
Uploading or redistributing original game files or assets is prohibited.
Spoilers should be appropriately labeled.
Commercial use such as merchandise or OST requires prior written permission.
These guidelines may change with prior notice.
■ 5. Modding Policy
Personal, non-commercial modding is allowed.
Redistribution of modified executable or data files is prohibited.
Distribution of mods requires prior written approval from the Company.
■ 6. Ownership
All rights to the Product and its components belong to the Company or its licensors.
This Agreement does not transfer ownership to the User.
■ 7. Updates & Online Features
The Company may provide updates or modify/terminate features as needed.
Online features, if any, may be subject to maintenance, changes, or termination.
■ 8. Refunds
Refunds follow Steam’s refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
■ 9. Personal Data
The Product itself does not collect personal information.
Any data processed through Steam is handled under Steam’s Privacy Policy.
■ 10. Violations & Termination
If the User violates this Agreement, the Company may terminate the license.
Upon termination, the User must cease all use and delete all copies of the Product.
■ 11. Third-Party Software
The Product may include third-party software (such as RPG Maker MZ runtime or plugins), which may be subject to separate licenses.
■ 12. Disclaimer of Warranty & Limitation of Liability
The Product is provided “as is.”
The Company disclaims all warranties to the extent permitted by law.
The Company is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the Product, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
■ 13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
Any disputes shall be exclusively resolved by the Seoul Central District Court, except where prohibited by mandatory law.
