End User License Agreement (EULA) – Side Whoop Demo
IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY: This End User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (“User” or “You”) and Echtzeit GmbH (“Developer”) governing your use of the Side Whoop Demo (“Demo” or “Software”), available via Steam.
By downloading, installing, or using the Demo, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the Demo.
1. License Grant
The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Demo solely for personal, non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.
This license does not grant you any rights to the full version of the game, which may be sold separately.
2. Restrictions
You may not:
Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Demo.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Demo.
Rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or distribute the Demo.
Use the Demo for commercial purposes or in any way that violates applicable laws.
Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the Demo.
3. Ownership
The Demo is licensed, not sold. The Developer retains all rights, title, and interest in the Demo, including all intellectual property rights.
Nothing in this Agreement grants you ownership of any intellectual property in the Demo.
4. Demo Nature
The Demo is provided for testing and evaluation purposes only. Features, content, and performance may differ from the full version. The Developer is under no obligation to provide updates or support for the Demo.
5. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you breach any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must uninstall and delete all copies of the Demo from your devices.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Demo is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The Developer does not guarantee that the Demo will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Demo, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
9. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Developer regarding the Demo and supersedes any prior agreements.
By downloading or using the Demo, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms.
