END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

Please read this End User License Agreement ("EULA") carefully before downloading, installing, accessing, or playing Meow Time: cozy cat room (the "Game").
This EULA is an agreement between you and Gloamfire Games Oy ("Gloamfire Games", "we", "us", or "our").
By downloading, installing, accessing, or playing the Game, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree to this EULA, you should not download, install, access, or play the Game.
1. Limited License
Gloamfire Games grants you a non-exclusive, personal, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to install and play the Game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment use.
This EULA does not transfer ownership of the Game to you. It only grants you a limited license to use the Game under the terms described in this EULA.
2. Ownership
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including but not limited to its code, artwork, animations, audio, music, characters, designs, user interface, text, gameplay systems, and other content, are owned by Gloamfire Games or its respective licensors.
You are purchasing or obtaining a license to play the Game, not ownership of the Game or any of its content.
All rights not expressly granted to you in this EULA are reserved by Gloamfire Games.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the Game or any part of it without permission.
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute unauthorized copies of the Game.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Game, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create unauthorized derivative works based on the Game.
- Remove, disable, or bypass any copyright notices, license notices, security features, or technical protections included in the Game.
- Use the Game for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
- Use cheats, automation tools, exploits, or unauthorized third-party software to interfere with the Game, Steam services, or other players’ experience.
4. Steam and Third-Party Services
The Game is distributed through Steam and may use Steamworks features such as Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud saves, or other standard Steam platform services.
Your use of Steam and Steam-related services is subject to the Steam Subscriber Agreement and other applicable terms provided by Valve Corporation.
The Game may also include an optional localized weather feature that uses OpenWeatherMap to provide in-game weather effects. This feature is turned off by default and is governed by the Game’s Privacy Policy and OpenWeatherMap’s own terms and privacy policy.
5. Updates and Changes to the Game
Gloamfire Games may provide updates, patches, bug fixes, balance changes, content changes, or other modifications to the Game from time to time.
Gloamfire Games may also modify, suspend, or discontinue certain features of the Game where necessary, including for technical, legal, security, or gameplay reasons.
You understand that updates may be required in order to continue using certain features of the Game through Steam.
6. User Content, Screenshots, and Streaming
You may create and share screenshots, videos, livestreams, reviews, and other non-commercial content featuring gameplay from the Game, provided that such use does not violate this EULA, applicable law, or the rules of the platform where the content is shared.
You may monetize gameplay videos or livestreams through standard platform monetization programs, such as YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, or similar platforms, as long as the content is not misleading, unlawful, or presented as an official product of Gloamfire Games.
This permission does not grant you ownership of the Game or any of its content.
7. Save Data and Local Files
The Game may create local save files, configuration files, or settings files on your device in order to store gameplay progress and preferences.
Gloamfire Games is not responsible for lost, damaged, corrupted, or deleted save files, configuration files, or local data, except where required by applicable law.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your own local files where appropriate.
8. Termination
This EULA remains in effect until terminated.
Your rights under this EULA will automatically terminate if you violate any of its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Game and delete any unauthorized copies in your possession.
Termination of this EULA does not limit any other rights or remedies available to Gloamfire Games under applicable law.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
GLOAMFIRE GAMES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, COMPATIBLE WITH ALL SYSTEMS, OR FREE FROM BUGS, DEFECTS, OR SECURITY ISSUES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GLOAMFIRE GAMES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE GAME.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, corrupted save files, software errors, system issues, loss of profits, loss of goodwill, or other damages related to the use of the Game.
Nothing in this EULA limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by applicable law.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Game may be subject to the Game’s Privacy Policy, which explains what information is collected, how it is used, and how third-party services such as Steam and OpenWeatherMap may process data.
By using the Game, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to This EULA
Gloamfire Games may update this EULA from time to time.
When changes are made, the "Last Updated" date at the top of this EULA will be updated. Your continued use of the Game after the updated EULA becomes available means that you accept the updated terms.
If you do not agree to the updated EULA, you should stop using the Game.
13. Severability
If any part of this EULA is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in full force and effect.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This EULA and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to this EULA shall be brought exclusively in the competent courts located in Finland, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
