License Grant and Scope
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use this game software for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
Restrictions on Use
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or otherwise exploit the game software or any derivative works except as expressly authorized by this Agreement or the copyright holder.
Intellectual Property Rights
This game’s story, character models, sounds, and art are based on the SCP Foundation universe and content provided by the SCP community. Modding Terms
Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to create and use modifications ("Mods") for personal, non-commercial use in conjunction with the licensed game software. Users shall not distribute, sell, license, or otherwise transfer copies of the game software, Mods, or any derivative works except through authorized channels explicitly approved by the copyright holder. Streaming, broadcasting, or publicly displaying gameplay footage or Mods for commercial purposes or in a way that competes with or undermines the authorized distribution or sales of the game requires prior written permission. The copyright holder reserves the right to revoke modding privileges and license rights upon violation of these terms. All ownership rights in the game software and derivative works remain with the copyright holder.
Mods that include, modify, or redistribute any art, story, models, sounds, or other creative content derived from the SCP Foundation universe must comply with the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license. This includes providing attribution to the original SCP creators and releasing derivative works under the same license. The proprietary license restrictions herein apply primarily to the game’s software code and executable distribution, and do not override the rights or obligations established by the Creative Commons license on SCP-based creative content.

The software is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any terms. Upon termination, all rights granted herein cease immediately.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflicts of law principles.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the copyright holder be liable for any incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising out of the use or inability to use the software.
